Personally, I think they are great way to help allow everyone to explore the city without the need for a private car and all its hassles.

3. Anything the modern-day German state does, means nothing, as it is an illegitimate zionist government that was installed by the Allies and is still occupied by America to this day, and was disarmed and regularly fined (even decades later) by the allies whenever they feel like.
