This needs to happen. Europe would be stronger, would have another strong trader in it's common market, and also bolster it's resistance to other trading blocs. It would make emigration to Turkey easier, free movement of people would be more feasible. It would add another interesting culture to the canvas of European membership. The only thing that works at this time in Germany is the Healthcare system, which is IMHO good.
Yes you can get insurance in the US too, before that Obamacare mess, and I don´t know how the costs of this compared to the average loan worksout but it would be only logical that the more people pay into it, the less it costs for everybody.
