The plebiscite will be on October this year, and I'd like to hear an honest opinion on this matter. I've seen quite a big number of southern Brazilians on 4chan, Reddit and overall throughout the internet avidly supporting this. The first referendum they performed about 10 years ago had over 70% approval and it wasn't even that popular.
I'm from Minas Gerais and I've read through everything on that website, and I fully understand their reasons. Still, I honestly don't have a solid opinion on this, and I generally prefer the country the way it is, but if they want to achieve it democratically and the majority wants it, there isn't much that can be done to prevent it from happening eventually.
