I think he might have gotten some dirty looks if he got up to stand in the center aisle snapping photos, but then again he was probably already getting dirty looks taking photos during mass anyway. Especially with that 6x7 sized thunderclap shutter.
I do like that photo a lot though, great tonality and I'm liking the slightly brownish toning. I wish it was centered and framed better with the perspective a little bit less funny, it should've been vertical orientation with the same amount of room on the sides but more room top and bottom and no cropped out feet.

found some kodakchrome slides of my dad's in the loft, 'scanned' them on my rudimentary DSLR neg scanning rig which was untested.. these are the first results. Obviously I didn't take the photo, it was my dad who was in san francisco (we're english) on a work exchange thing (he's a doctor) in the 80s. Him and his American mate went scuba diving and got these clam things which we're apparently pretty tasty.
Struggled a little with getting colour correction right in lightroom though, if anyone has any times they'd be appreciated.
