Way too much contrast. I generally hate this look wherever I see it. It works once in a thousand images. These are on the verge.
The pictures don't keep uniform because of the differences in grain from noticeable to riddled with.
In >>2850964 the swans create a nice pattern of unearthly look but the effect doesn't work because this only happens because picture quality is shit.
Are these digital or film? Some of these have a really pinhole-ish feel to them but you wouldn't have been able to take images of moving animals on it and the versatility of points of view you've recorded also speaks against it. Nevertheless, the effect is the one thing that brings interest in these.

thank you, that's exactly what I wanted to creacte, ''technically perfect photos'' taken with ''great camera'' wouldn't be able to make this kind of atmosphere.

This guy again:
Having seen the whole of them, it gives a better represantation - naturally. They are actually kinda balanced together, these ten shots. Like the guy above said, they're creepy and atmospheric. They capture eery loneliness to me, but so many pictures seem to easily do that. I'm interested, what's your angle to these? What's your backround on photography?
Cool stuff, love the atmosphere the photos build as a whole
I agree with that there's great atmosphere here, but the general nothingness of the photos makes it hard for anything to linger. It feels like a movies consisting solely of really good establishing shots. The mood is there - but not much else worth remembering.
Great thread, made me want to dig out my own Holga from storage.
I always preferred using color film with it, but I like the mood you were able to create with the B/W.
Did you shoot at 400 speed?
Where are you shooting these pics?

I really like all of them.
this is a comfy set. pls print.

>the swans create a nice pattern of unearthly look but the effect doesn't work because this only happens because picture quality is shit.
Take this information with a grain of salt, and by that I mean discard it entirely.
it reminds me of the first pics I took, here
looking alright but I think it would look a lot better in a longer tone scale
