i notice that youve got way too dark shadows, like in >>2835756 the boat would be a nice place to have lots of detail to study, but the blacks are crushed and my eyes just wander to the boring bright yellow building.

if it was the highlights that were blown, the information is definitively there. just lower the highlights to the bottom, and push the blacks and shadows up, compensating with the exposure slider til the result looks nice

alright tried it, I think it's nicer now. Also lowered the saturation on the yellows a bit to not make that building stand out too much.

the white balance on the left building is off, maybe raise the global temperature and brush some colder temp into the building in the middle?
and with some grad filters or brushing, you can gt way more contrast and color on the boat. the point of highest contrast is where your eyes will be naturally drawn. youve got some nice leading lines towards the boat, but it gets kind of anticlimactic when almost every other part of the image got more contrast than the main subject of the photo. ideally your eye would start on the boat then be led towards the bridge and the yellow house wich would help to "emphasise the suspense of whats around the corner" if you believe in that photographic storytelling shtick.
