Bitches do love these things. Instant photography is like the LG chocolate of 2016
>>
>>2829804
Oh shit mah nigga I had one of those
>>
>>2829804

>2016

you're several years behind, dummy.

instax has been a thing for quite a long time now.
>>
It's a shame the lens is a heap of dogshit. I've seen the product of Instax stock in a MF and it's pretty clear how much of a waste the Fuji makes of it. I'd gladly pay a few hundred for one with a decent lens.
>>
I have three of those. Never use them.
>>
>>2830756
Well any fuji camera, from compact to milc, can print directly to the instax printer.
So you can have an xt1 or xpro2 with whatever lens you want and print direct to the instax, rather than going through the mobile app first.
>>
>>2831031
Unfortunately the prints are the size of a postage stamp.
>>
>>2831036
Instax Wide is gonna be the new standard, hopefully they release a Wide version of the SP-1. It's too bad that Instax is all we have left now.
>inb4 Fuji axed Fp-100c to stop it from cannabalizing Instax sales

>>2830756
lomo instant wide seems like a good intant camera, which is surprising for a camera from lomo and it has a pretty decent price
>>
>>2831084
I have one. It can feel very cheap but I still enjoy it. Only downside might be aiming so be prepared to take shitty shots. At least I'm not paying for Impossible shit.
>>
I do have like nine of these cameras. Most of them are old Polaroid 600 series camera and some SX-70s. Usually I would carry my SLR690 and a converted Polaroid 110A around shooting random shit.
>>
>>2831036
I was going to convert my 110A so it can shoot Instax Wide, but fuck it. I have decided to convert it to shoot 5*4 sheet films once my inventory of FP-100C is all gone. Fuck Fuji.
>>
I fucking adore mine, I have snuck backstage and have shot heaps of "Big names" in the music industry, random tiddies and just models if they are shy it defiantly warms them up to shooting
>>
>>2831051
>hopefully they release a Wide version of the SP-1
Fucking this.
Buy in a heartbeat.

SP-1 is a fun novelty but the wide would be grand.

Yeah I don't have any experience with the camera but matt day (from YouTube) has one and I really like the image quality on it, even if it's build quality is crappy it definitely has the best image quality for an instant camera still in production

Unlikely reason.
Completely different markets.

At any rate Instax sales currently fund and subsidize all r&d for fuji's photographic department or some shit.
It's insane.
Grills the world over go apeshit pantywet over this shit.
>>
>>2832079
So it's true, huh. Maybe they should start making some non-kiddy designs.

Converted my 110A a few months ago, shit's been fun. Get a shorty shutter release cable, makes it easier to shoot with.

except they sell a plastic camera with a shitty two-element lens that's worth maybe $25 for like a hundred bucks. it basically prints money.
>>
>>2829728
looks like a hasbro toy.
>>
>>2832336
What the fuck how
>>
>>2832418

attach lomo belair instax back upside down, you have to remove a few chunks of the original camera back/sides, put a ground glass in a dead instax pack and reset the front standard (well take the front standard stop off and maek the new one)

I pretty much ripped the Idea off from polaroidconversions.com

you can also mod these for 4x5 in a similar fasion.

>yes the rangefinder works
>>
>>2832336
wow I want to do that
