The whole bottom of your picture adds nothing but distraction here.
Your eyes are drawn to three things in a picture:
>brightness
>lines
>familiar objects (like faces, eyes ..)
A nice example of lines can be found on the bottom left of your picture. A viewer looks at them and naturally tries to follow them. You can use this to your advantage to build up a scene, to make your viewer look at the picture the way you want to.
For a great example check out Ansel Adams Snake River, where the river is bright to catch your eye and leads to a phenomenal mountain in the background.
For a bad picture, check out yours. You have lines leading to nowhere, distracting the viewer and making your picture more turbulent.
By framing it without the path you have a way calmer and more pleasant picture. Don't do this in post like I did, but rather on location the next time. Always try to get it right in camera.
I cropped away quite a lot of snow as well. In your picture the snow takes up half the frame. Do you really need that much to show us the crane in the background?
Avoid placing your subject in the middle of the vertical frame to get rid of the unnecessary snow. I cropped it to follow the classic rule of thirds a little more. Now it's all about the crane, the light makes us look there first and the contrast of the crane makes it pop out.
Resize your shit the next time, usually I don't bother with people that don't follow the rules.

Your pictures look nice, mainly because you've visited some nice places but there is no story there's nothing that really draws me in. If you like photography keep going but sooner or later you'll want a real camera.

Resize your shit.
For noob phone snapshits though, they're not terrible.
You seem to have a reasonable eye for nice light, which is very important.
Pay more attention to holding your camera still, and not tilting the horizon.
Also, try and get more interesting stuff in your foreground.
