I.e. picture related was set to be resized to 1920x1080 but ends up as 1620x1080..

Nice pano but I think the gravel in the front left of the frame is distracting and is leading the viewers eye away from the flowing water.
There's nothing I can see in post that would save it as no crop would get rid of that sweeping grey arrow in the bottom of the frame but I would say taking the same shot from the embankment next to the road would turn that gravel from an arrow to a solid layer at the bottom of the frame that would create more depth

It's an empty church and the problem with these kinds of shots is always the amount of negative space. All the empty space in the frame serves nothing as it's not contrasting with anything. When I look like an image like that all I end up looking at are the designs on the roof.
They're rightly worth looking at but you've photographed the whole scene with no clear indication where you want the viewer to look. I would assume if you were specifically shooting the roof you would have left most of the bottom of the frame out. As it stands there's too much going on here and the distortion ruins the shot if you trying to just make an architectural documentation

Exposure is fine, technically it looks alright but there's nothing going on. Our eyes read from left to right when we scan images and it feels like none of the content on the left of the screen is working with the negative space on the right. Have you tried to push the shadows in the bottom of the frame more? the exposure imbalance across the frame is working against this, not with it. It's not adding contrast as there's just enough light to clearly make out everything in the bottom of the frame so all it's doing is adding difficulty to reading the image since I'm struggling to see what's going on at the bottom. I'd argue the image as a whole is a bit busy too. Most of the contrast is coming from the blue of the water and the whites of the jets. None of this is framing or interacting with the people properly. The image is just not coming together because of all of that.

This looks pretty cool, everything bar the ultra clear signage. It distracts from the general feel of the picture. This comes across as murky and atmospheric. Grim dark but in a cool tumblresque way but the ARTHUR MURRAY DANCE STUDIO ENTRANCE WYNARD LANE just ruins it. I especially like the arrow on the left of the frame. Simple symbolism like that works exceptionally well. What you have in this image is a great example of what kind of visuals work in photography and what ones do not.

I'd try avoid taking pictures of homeless people, no one wants to see them most of the time and secondly they're an "easy target" for what may seem to beginners like a deep and challenging subject. That's not to say there aren't any great photographs documenting homelessness but they tend to ere on the side of a project documenting a single persons struggle.

Issues like homelessness are very personal. A lot more personal than a war forcing a family to become refugees. It's the choices and perhaps failings on an individual with life itself. We all have to see this nearly daily as it is and seeing photographs of them makes people frustrated sometimes. More often than not though like I said people just dont want to see them, they see them enough as it is.
Try not to shoot homeless people much mate. At least not as "homeless people"

i cut a circle out of paper with a square hole that was about the size of my sensor, and placed it in front of my lens.
I figured it would be a nice tool for when for example the circular bokeh becomes annoying when shooting in front of branches with no full frame to make it sufficiently creamy. instead of fighting the limitations of my camera.
or for when shooting structures and architecture, having bokeh that plays in tandem with the straight lines. it might become gimmicky but its fun playing with, at least.

I feel like the lighting ruins this picture with the dark and light spots. Shutter speed makes it look like the water was running pretty fast, if that was your aim. Nifty idea
