Hi all
I've been saving for quite some time for a decent setup, but recently I have been given access to a Canon 10D, so i can basically use it as if it was my own.
How would you guys rate the 10D for a beginner/intermediate user wanting to become more educated and experienced?

The lense i'm using mostly is 20-35mm
Mainly looking at doing landscape and shots when i'm travelling.

It can be ok in good light conditions. Shoot RAW, use maximum aperture, use gradient filter(dynamic range isn't so good at all)
I recommend to check batteries, find more than one - time isn't good thing for it.

Perfect for education. Weak hardware will force more technique/skill from you, this is a good thing.

Good photographer could shoot beautiful photos with 10d. You won't be slowed down by hardware with this camera, at least not in first few months of having fun and learning how to use it.

Used a 10-D for years...Good glass is a better investment than a good body. That being said a photographer with a point and shoot is still better than a terrible photographer with high dollar stuff
