I know I have an older camera, and a shitty mac, but could someone give me some ideas on how I can improve with the camera I have.

I will try and upload the pictures that are save that are under 4MB.

Dude, resize your pics to 1000 pixels on the longest side.
>>2760060
looks pretty good considering it's a 12 year old camera
>>2760056
your picture are too fucking big
Get out of the house and find some cool shit. Or get someone to wear the mask and take photos of them in the mask. Whatever man.

Agreed. The image quality from the camera is not the issue. The setting, the light, the composition, the framing, and the processing are the issues.

>I really want to upgrade to anewer camera
Explain why? How is you camera limiting your abilities of taking boring photos of an interesting mask in your boring room?
Buy 2 flashes instead and experiment with lightning your subject instead.

The camera seems to be working fine. The issue is that you spent time taking 79 pictures of a mask.
Go outside and take pictures of things, anything. Get your friends and take pictures with them, of them, around them. Learn to reflexively feel and look:
By feel I mean learn the feel of your camera and your gear. If you cannot adjust exposure without looking then you need more practice. Even on a one dial camera you should be pretty fluent with knowing where everything is.
Look at your images before you take them. What about your scene makes you want to take a photograph. Show us something interesting. Sure the mask is vaguely interesting by itself but you need more. We can go on ebay and find pictures of that mask. Read on composition, leading lines, exposure. Try and learn to see a good photo - this might mean looking at a lot of other people's photos to see what makes a shitty photo.
