I really dig this image, I love how she's just a groovy dark shape with a face emerging. This is how "crushing tha blacks" should be utilized.
>>2756861
Mainly for this image, but slightly for the first too: give more headroom to your model.
Her face is really dark and these light conditions don't work well with her face.
I like the pose and the idea that her belly is visible, but due to composition / lighting or her lack of muscle definition, but unfortunately here it all results in her appearing fat.

I get what you're saying about the lighting on the face and the abdomen. Makes her look pudgy. I'll see what I can do to salvage that one. Thanks!

I disagree about the head looking to big, but can you elaborate on where I should be improving. Aside from better gear, which I can't afford cause being a brokenigga is tough

Ignore this faggot.
The first two photos have really interesting lighting. Keep experimenting with the gear you have, whatever it is is more than adequate!
>>2756858
I really like the pose in this one. It doesn't look natural and is slightly uncomfortable to look at, but it works really well. The location of the light falloff is perfect. I love the silhouette body and lack of detail in the eyes.
>>2756881
The pose is borderline uncomfortable in a bad way here. She looks like a contortionist. The lack of detail in the torso makes me confused as to how her body is twisting to give her arm that particular position relative to her head. If you could make the pose appear slightly less strange I think you'd strike a similar balance between comfortable/uncomfortable like your first photo.
>>2756887
Weakest by far. Looks like a typical senior portrait photo. Not a fan of the camera angle.
>>2756894
Lovely light in this. Especially like the amount and location of the fill on the right side (her left side) of the face. Getting the slight catchlight in her eyes on that side makes the image pop nicely.
>>2756897
Not a flattering focal length/angle for her. She looks like a different model in this one compared to the others. Light is okay but not as exciting as the other shots.
Great stuff overall OP. The processing is nice and goes well with the lighting. I'd really like to see more photos similar to the first two.
>>2756858
I like your website. Can you tell me a bit how you post-process?
>>2756886
There's always one guy.
OP, don't waste time with the troll
>>2756861
reverse the light on this one
>>2756858
I would say keep the photo in the OP and the group photo on your site and remove the rest from this shoot.
I think those demonstrate you working at the peak of your ability and the others from the shoot detract from that. I would only have one portfolio with 10-20 images rather than several categories.
That being said, I think you do have a good eye and skill. There's at least 2 great photos in each category. I just think those should be selected and the portfolio should be trimmed so that your great shots are the ones we see rather than the good shots along with the great ones.

is the first girl on the A/C/E page named Amber by chance?
>>2756858
Are you trying to make your subjects look flattering? Or are you going for a weird Gilden-esque artistic but freaky look?
Because I think your aesthetic has a film effortless weirdo look, which is nice, but your portraits are really ugly. Are you trying to make them look unflattering for artistic purposes?
All in all, I like it, but I don't know what your intention is.
