I don't know what thread to post this in so I'm making a new one: I recently fetched my Tetenal kit from the post office on foot in winter and now I'm paranoid. The package was in a frosty -20C weather but the cans state the lowest suitable temperature is around +5C, am I fucked? This is my first time developing film though so I have no idea.

If half an hour in the cold was enough to ruin it, how the fuck do you think the stuff would get shipped anywhere? Heated fucking trucks and planes?

Think of these as separate chemicals. Some of them can get ruined by sunlight or high heat (like medicine you have in your cabinet). Most of them will also deteriorate with long term oxidation. However, literally no chemicals can get damaged by cooling (hell, we deep freeze cells and they're okay after thawing). Chemicals are good as long as 1. prevent high heat 2. prevent open air 3. prevent UV. The cold actually prevented whatever negative reaction woulda happened in that short time span.

ice crystals destroy cell structures. they're not ok after thawing. anyway, freezing chemical mixtures like the tetenal kit can cause the components to separate (different freezing temperatures) leading to difficulty remixing them properly.
