Not all the time, because his method would probably be trashed completely by /p/.
A decent amount of the photographs he took were either hip-shots or other methods in which foresight of the result would be minimal. Some of the photos don't give off this vibe from a purely visual point even though that was how they were taken.
That doesn't mean he photographed random shit, though. It was more that the WAY in which he shot was random. It gives diverse results; some bad, for example "flawed by meaningless blur grain, muddy exposure, drunken horizons, and general sloppiness", but some memorable and to this day held up on a pedestal.

Okay, but the project isnt about whether or not islam is bad. The idea is to be a bystander as the cultural changes occour, and with these terror attacks and rioting and killings are on the rise, and with that, so will anti-muslim sentiments rise.
