I need a 1x adapter to use a Nikon D610 (F-mount) with a C-mount microscope. I have absolutely no idea what brand or type of adapter is better, one piece adapter, mutiple piece set? wich brand should I try first? everything I found so far is confusing or looks cheap and I dont want the adapter to break or pop out. Also, found several adapters for F-mount body to C-Mount lenses, will any of them do the job or this is a really stupid question?.

the microscope manufacturer usually also offers some adapter. I got one with photo ocular, but it magnifies a little too much for my taste. Adapter consists of 4 pieces: Lens, adapter that goes into the ocular mount of the microscope, tubus and adapter t2 to camera mount.
