The original frame was better than the crop.
B&W should serve a purpose, here it just makes the photo bland.
Unless there is some shared story behind this flower between you too, this photo does nothing artistically or visually. Shoot more photos and try to get them appealing without further editing, editing should be a polish not a remodel.
