Thanks dude, much appreciated. I really only use my phone for snapshots but quality wise you never want to be shooting anything below 21MP. The only exception to this rule is if you're shooting at night and need the boost iso of intelligent auto, otherwise Sony compresses everything too much. If you want to edit stuff then snapseed is a good option and possibly vscocam but I don't really use either for instagram uploads. 99% Of the shots on my account are from my D7100
