because it's literally a meme uneducated people fall for because they believe they need an apple device for graphic design or photography (creative stuff) etc.
but this is bullshit.
you can get devices that are better for stuff like this (with actual good screen which covers adobeRGB, more power for less money, better service, professional features etc), plus OS X is limiting as a OS for stuff like that if you do it professional (for example no 10 bit color depth support).
they only real creative stuff you would prefer OS X is music production because of several reasons.
other than that you are better with a nice workstation, business workstation ultrabook (HP zBook Studio, Dell Precision ultrabook etc) actual graphic tablet (wacom) etc.
