Typical DJI potato shot. With all the money spent on buying that ready made toy you could've built a hexa- or octocopter able to carry a NEX-like camera with all the tricks the big guys use.
But you had to have a mac-like piece of shit. Now look at your photo and you try finding something decent on it.

BTW I built a quadcopter this year with the size of a DJI Phantom and with the features of a wookong. It cost me $140 with the programmable multi frequency GPS receiver. How much did your toy cost?

I tried to attach my compact camera to my rc helicopter to get some stunts taped, waste of time

The flying frame and the gimbal are separate pieces. I used my friends gimbal and was about to order my own Fatshark and ImmersionRC system with the gimbal from Hobbyking when I realized it is a frame flying itself and all I do is watch it hover.
I got bored of it quickly and sold the frame to another friend and instead spent the time on my competition gliders.
The friend who bought it modified a Mobius camera with a lens without IR filter and used it to scan the fields near the town for money.

A mirror lens is a lens consisting of an often spherical, sometimes parabolic mirror, corrective front element and corrective mirror. Usually in a Maksutov-Cassegrain or Schmidt-Cassegrain arrangement.
