Gotta be more exact with your positioning and if you're going thin Dof, remember it's focused at the sensor plane, not exactly where your head is while holding the camera.
Try again and set the camera to take like 5 shots. Start where you set focus from and slowly move yourself forward during those shots. You'll catch focus on one.

How? because I've listened to every single person that posts here, it doesn't matter if they are "right" or "wrong", what matters is that, that is their opinion, and something is only worth what another person is willing to pay. But most places will just say things like;

Hello today ! I got up and went for a few more takes. I don't have photo shop so I am not able to correct the color well. Attempted to use free online editors but Im not sure if what Im doing is just more "blue-ing" or correct adjustments. Ill get it learned soon. But here is an improvement , I smiled better and went for squared crop for the profile.
I work in IT as a tier 1 ticket triage. I am the only Tier 1 for our IT department of 1400~ users ( growing by weekly at about 20~(5~ out during 2 weeks)). I divide the 120~ tickets a day up for 7 support tech Bros. Much work I put into each ticket prior to translate what the fuck the user is on about lol Its a good time :) This was a fun time also , love art and anything creative. If you wanted to portray yourself as a greasy, acne pocked, flaky skinned loser who can't take a decent photo. You have succeeded.
as for the actual photo, it doesn't convey anything about you apart from you have bad skin and you are a bit chubby. The colours make you look dirty, the low-key lighting make you look dirtier still and like you have something to hide.
