Made it over the hump, only 2 more days of work until 48hrs of fishing. I thought I had Monday off but I guess not.

No new lures have been made since 1966

Talk about fishin'

>a 3500 sized reel is too heavy

This is why I don't consider bass "fishermen" to be real fishermen.
>>

It's just unnecessary for 99% of bass fishing situations. That being said I love my 30 size reel.

I really like that President 30 and Okuma 25. The President is smaller than most other 30/3000 sizes and those reels wirh 10lb and 15kb braid are great for bass, sneks, and even the Mayans. The memecasters with 20lb and 30lb are better for real heavy cover but those spinning reels will cast 1/4oz lures really well and are fun to hook 3lb bass on.
>>
>>804903
I've always fished with 2k size reels, switched over to a 3500 on one of my rods, and it's noticeably heavier, though I haven't had any issues really,
Slightly more tiring I guess
On my next setup I'd like a 2500 size but the reel I want only has 2 and 3k so il probably go with 3

How does one convince themselves to get up early to fish? It's a leisurely activity and I think sleeping in is more leisurely than fishing.

Any advice for shore fishing a river? Whenever I go I'll get a fish an hour if I'm lucky and usually less.

I wonder whats in here..
Also i ordered my first baitcaster today, any useful tips?
>>
>>805034

Personally I have the best luck around waterfall areas. Other good spots are at the outside of river bends, merging rivers/creeks, around dams, rocky/logs sticking out of the middle of the river. Creeks that lead into the rivers are pretty good.
Pretty much anywhere the river current isn't very strong.
>>
>>804894
You were 100% right about 10oz of tackle being wayyy too much for a med-hev rod btw.

It didn't matter because the fish finder rig was too long to cast. I'm gonna go back and run a single hook with live bream and accept that simple is better

What one did you get? That Chinese one or did you find an Abu?

Start casting with the brakes and tension turned up. Avoid light lures and don't cast into the wind at first. Start backing off the brakes and tension as you get comfortable.

Youtube vids will help but practice is best.
>>

I ordered the chinese one for $21(converted) and went down to my local supplies store and they have a couple of decent abus, will pick one up when i outgrow the chink piece.

Thanks for the tips, any youtubers in particular?

Nah idk, there's probably a million. Just learn how to adjust everything from those and git gud at thumbing the spool. It isn't rocket science.

Are you doing mono or braid? Mono is more forgiving snd will be cheaper when you have to cut out a nest.

>>805154
You can use braid, I did on my first memecaster and I can normally get nests out. Just be careful.

The one thing with braid on baitcasters is the line can dig itself into the spool. So if you hit a snag or a big fish and it pulls hard on the line, you need to be easy on the next cast. The line digs in and can get caught and backlash. Aside from that it's all good.

>>805149
Do you have a schematic? Best bet is to email Lew's customer service. Parts are normally really cheap. Abu makes it so easy though, all their schematics for reels decades old are online and they have links to multiple websites that carry parts. EReplacementParts.com

I'm pretty damn patient and courteous because I realize that it's not hard to kill somebody by trying to be in a rush with a semi truck. But you also gotta look at it from my view- I deal with assholes in cars cutting me off all day. So if I see that asshole in the BMW try and fly past me in the merging lane, you better believe that I'm going to make him slam on his brakes and get behind me. I do the same shit in my car too though, I'm really patient until I see somebody who thinks their time is more important than everybody else's on the road.

Bass mostly
>>
>>805185
Well I dont have much experience there, but imagine its just like any other fish. The right bait, the right time and move up and down the river until you spot something or get some nibbles.
>>
>>805185
I haven't done much river fishing in years, but there are a couple general tips when fishing rivers for predators including bass:
-cast upstream and retrieve bait downstream, the fish will normally be facing upstream and waiting for an easy meal floating downstream.
-look for areas of slow water like bends, drop-offs, any underwater structure. The predator fish (bass) will hang out in the slow moving water and wait for something to pass by in the current. So a good bet is to cast upstream near these spots and retrieve right on the edge of the slower moving water.

>>805184
I never claimed that they were the brightest people. Especially these days it is getting worse and there are so many retards and/or foreigners who think they can take a 2 month class, get their Class A, and make $100k their first year out.

Most of my customers love me because I'm not a total retard and have a little pride in my job. There are so many lazy ass nigs who do this job and piss everybody off. That's why I hate when they put me on a route I don't run much because people think you are going to act like them. With my regular stores, I just tell them it's all there, they sign, and I do my thing and get out of there.

>>805183
It's funny because I post it every thread and people still get worked up. I try and get in there like 2nd or 3rd post so everybody sees it. The 'tism is strong in those knife collector threads.

>>805179
No problem. Best bet when running braid is to cast easy with the breaks and tension nice and high after you have a fish or snag that pulled the line out. At least that will minimize the backlash. I still haven't figured out how to completely avoid it but at least I'm aware of it now. I guess I could pull 20yds-30yds of line out by hand to make sure it doesn't get caught. But after that next cast, it will always be fine.

Ehh, if he normally doesn't touch freight, then he is probably a lazy SOB anyway. I try not to do extra physical labor since my days are so hard to start with, but I will normally spend the extra 5min moving shit for a regular customer. Lots of drivers will bitch and moan about it. Depends on the situation though. If a salesman is consistently lazy, I'll refuse to do some little job just so he has to drive over and move a couple cases. My old route was really bad with respects to that stuff.

Little pumpkin whatever color lizards did bretty gud today. 4 largemouth in a couple hrs at an overfished lake. First was ~10", then 12", then 14", and the last guy was 15"-16". Even though they were small, Texas rigs are fun to fish because of the timing.

Those were a real natural brown color. Threw out the Zoom Trick Worn in limetruese a lil and no bites on that but it was getting those peacocks in super clear water. Then had a junebug color Gambler shad which was pretty big and that was getting some hits but nothing crazy. This water was medium clarity, maybe 2'-3' of visibility, so I'm still trying to perfect the color choice.

And those sneks are a bitch to catch sometimes. Had a couple come out of the rocks by shore and chase the spinners, but at that point the sneks were so close to shore that they would see me, freak out, and swim down deep.

I found them in little pockets along a fast moving crystal clear river. Its easy to tell when its a smallie on because they usually throw themselves a couple feet in the air when they get hooked in attempt to shake loose. crafty little bastards
>>
>>805332
That lake in WI where we would get them was crystal clear too. And the color is always so nice when you pull them out of water like that.

Then there was the smaller murky lake we would fish a couple miles away and that one was full of yellow perch and big musky and northern.

I guess the thing up there was if you were catching yellow perch, you better break out a heavy combo for musky because they go hand in hand. No idea if there is any truth behind it but I tend to believe old guys who have been fishing these lakes for 50yrs.

Hey Fishing thread.

NJ guy here who is bad at fishing.

I went out again to the pond I went to last weekend. (Very shallow with muddy water.)

Cut up nightcrawlers on a small baitholder hook with small bobber worked like a charm.

I caught like 20 panfish. (I think mostly bluegill/sunfish but maybe one rock bass? I remember pulling one out and saying what the heck is this?)

Should have took a picture but was having fun and forgot.

I tired the mepps #3 casted out farther. I casted out let it fall then reeled it in slowly twitching every so often with tip of rod but caught nothing. (Other than a stick)

Any tips for catching bass in muddy water? Guy next to me was jusing just a worm hook with a plastic worm (No weights) and caught some small mouths.

Can you use a bobber to catch bass?

This time of year, Mepps should be good at sunset or early morning with the cloudy water. Mepps and other spinners are supposed to imitate a school of baitfish.

It is basically July, so maybe the water is getting kind of warm to be fishing spinners during the day. That's how it is here most of the year in South Florida. So I do the Texas rigs with worms, crawdads, lizards, or brush hogs. Bullet weights pull them down to the bottom and the lizard tails or crawdad claws kinda flail above the mud or grass. The bass see it as an easy target and will go for it when they wouldn't normally chase a crankbait or spinner. For the muddy water, I would probably do a dark color like "Junebug".

I mean you can go to Walmart and pick up a pack of 4/0 worm hooks, some 1/4oz bullet weights, and a pack of Zoom Baby Brush Hogs for like $7.

NJ bruv i am also an NJ

Stained water use chartreuse or black and blue baits.

For inline spinners and basically all cranks you want to aim at structures or vegetation or have them pass through/along them. You'll have better luck with mepps if you toss them next to a stump and reel at a constant pace. You should feel the vibration from the resistance the blade makes in the water.

So toss them next to stumps, branches, lillies, and grass mats and you will catch fish. Dont toss them right in those things though. That's how you lose them
>>
>>805353

>>
>>805371
And the bobber thing- you can catch largemouth and smallmouth on nightcrawlers and a bobber just like you were doing for the panfish, but once again, being July, the Bass are probably out pretty deep during the day or near some cover and shade. Shiners or other minnows are normally better for bass than nightcrawlers and you can rig them the same way. But you would either have to cast it deep near the bass, or go at dawn or dusk and cast out a little bit past where the bluegill are. The nice thing about shiners is that the bluegill won't touch them. Hopefully there aren't a lot of turtles though.

And please don't use a bobber with a plastic worm. I would be ashamed of myself for giving you advice if you went out there with a bobber and plastic worm.

Oh, and the weightless plastic worm the dude was doing, maybe it was just a real finesse presentation. Once again it looks like an easy target for fish in warm water instead of chasing smaller fish. If the bass aren't very deep, I'm sure they would jump at the weightless worm once it hits the water. I have done weightless lizards before and I run them over the top of thick grass for small to medium largemouth that are lurking in there.

I do well with the Mepps around sunset by running them along dropoffs. The bass will come in a little closer and that vibration will make them come up for a snack.

Stocked lakes are overrated sometimes. It's all about the places that nobody would ever think to fish at. I'm sure you have tons of industrial and commercial complexes in NJ with man-made lakes that have "No Tresspassing" signs put up to scare the casuals away.
>>
>>805393
Oh i was think of a lake in hamilton nevermind.

Look at google maps and see the bodies of water. You're right next to rancocas creek, i'd try there. also check NJDEP's where to fish and the stocking summaries. I think you've probably already done that though.

I live in the crosswicks watershed so my recommendations if you come down here are to try crystal lake park and some parts of the crosswicks creek.

Are there ponds near your house? some developments out here have them stocked with bass and sunnies.

It was a sight to see. Then I threw a rubber frog and nearly caught a 3 or 4 pounder but he got away. But that shit was crazy yall

>a manmade lake is a stocked lake
Not the places I'm fishing. Nobody is paying to have these aesthetic commercial complex lakes stocked. There are ways the fish get in there without people putting them in.

The one cool thing is that so many random lakes and ponds here are all connected by canals and drainage. Which is good because the bass can always have a little hiding hole somewhere and breed there but then when the sneks get loose, it can be really bad.

I missed this. I don't think it was caused by line twist. I was using a memecaster and I just set the hook way too hard. I wasn't paying attention and I saw my line start to move and when I set it the jig flew over my head lmao.

been going out for days, no luck in ontario. seeing other fisherman wish the same problems, doesn't matter if they're flyfishing with waders out in the middle of the river, or old asians with those giant fucking poles and bobbers. really blows, not sure what's up. would boats stress out fish? some retards have been parking their boats in stupid places and ripping up the water 24/7. might head to a conservation area with no boating, i know for a fact there are spawning centers there.

anyway, question; if im setting a carolina rig up, should i use an egg or a bullet sinker? there's a lot of weeds and i just lost my only spoon. i tried a texas rig and just sort of letting this scented rubber worm sit in the weeds, got a few bites but some faggot in on a jetski blazed past me and shook up the water real bad (seriously, who the fuck goes right in front of someone fishing? do you WANT my line in your face?)

Don't know if this is a stupid question or not but here goes.
>be me ten years ago, small kid.
>dad takes me fishing at local ponds, lakes, etc. have a great time.
>Never catch anything but bluegill because of location but it's still my favorite hobby
>over the years my dad gets busier, has chronic pain, etc. my mom tries to take me once but it wasnt a great experience because she knows nothing.
>I eventually stop fishing because new friends think it's stupid
>Get inducted into a vegan/PC/liberal friend group in highschool somehow
>somewhere along the line get re-interested in outdoor sports
>test out if any of my friends would be good fishing buddies by bringing up the topic and I'm met with general disgust

Now that I'm in college I have the free time to start fishing, as long as I'm sneaky about ditching my friends for a weekend. I still have lots of equipment, and I've read a lot about it, but I have no experience. I also have nobody to go with, and the place I want to go is a relatively popular lake. I have social anxiety and I'd hate to get there and embarrass myself, especially if I took the time to be sneaky about ditching my friend group for a weekend.

Anyone have tips for etiquette, not bothering anyone else, or general stuff newbies do that's annoying and I should avoid?

I saw a bunch of PowerPro on EBay for great prices (like $20/300yds) but I didn't want to end up getting some 10 year old spool that was sitting in a humid warehouse or some shit. You never know with that, for $20 a spool, it could've been knockoff Chinese braid in PowerPro packaging.

I've had entire days of fishing at quiet ponds ruined by house poor South Shore guido trash taking their jetskis back and forth for hours, coming up onto the sand less than five feet from where I'm fishing, running across my line, spooking fish and churning up the water. They can also never seem to get back on.

People who can't enjoy nature without ruining it for other people should be killed. Keep that shit on the ocean.

Best color for zoom super fluke? All I have is pearl white so far and they are pretty good but only seem to catch fish when it is sunny. Thinking about grabbing midnight chart and bubblegum since bass pro is having a sale and free shipping. Is bubble gum/ pink a meme color or they actually work?
>>
How often do you guys actually catch anything?

I haven't caught anything in like three months (Caught a pike). It's really bumming me out, my highlight of the week was a fucking nibble.

Been using a texas rig with darker worms, then a carolina rig with a scented swimbait worm, then just a gold spoon with an egg sinker or just by itself in the more shallow parts of this river. Have tried using those rather common jigheads, the ones with the orange/white/green sphere head that goes onto the rubber wormlike body (not sure if there's a name for these specific ones), it's what I caught a pike with, but still nothing.

I'm not alone in this either, I haven't seen anyone catch anything (there's normally like four or five other fishermen in sight) in weeks. Probably these dumb cunts in their stupid vacation boats on the river. Might need to take a good long drive up river.
>>

I used to pretty much only fish with spinners and crankbaits because they did well up north with cooler water. Then I moved to FL, and I would do great in Jan-Feb but had terrible luck when it was warmer and wouldn't catch shit like 6 outings in a row.

Then I finally learned about Texas rigs and some other techniques. Even with heated pool type water, I can still manage to get some bass pretty much every time I go out. Sometimes I won't catch shit when I'm trying a new lake where I don't know the good spots, but if I really need to catch something that day, I can go to one of my regular lakes for 20min and hit something.

>>806147

depends, Its seasonal so you get hired for 3 month ( spring) or 6 month positions ( summer and fall) and seasona overlap, its a bit complicated,

No positions are garunteed, But they do rehire people they like ( there are some guys who have been working there 10 years seasonally

Work in the springg durring stocking season is absolutley balls to the wall, Working your ass off, In the summer, its mostly maitnence and making sure shit doesnt go wrong ( turn into alot of work if things do go wrong )

Why the fuck can't I hook bass?

Suwannee lake just reopened and I heard people were commonly catching 18 inch bass so I was like fuck it and bought some worms despite having almost no freshwater experience.

I'd feel a nibble, let them take it for a moment, and set the hook. Only problem is that they'd only ever stay on the line for 3-4 seconds and when I looked at my worm the hook wasn't even poking through the rubber. I have the very tip already out so it's not like the point is just too deep or something.

What size hooks are you using? You are probably getting bluegill or smaller bass just grabbing the end of the worm, especially if you are using something big like a trick worm. Otherwise the hook is maybe too small to hook big guys? But even then the hook should still be poking through.

That sounds like what happens when I use those black worms and lizards with chartruese tails. The fish only grab the tail and like 2/3 of the time I think I have a fish on, they just let go after a few seconds and the hook hasn't even popped through.

My uncle has a house on Lake Chickamauga I fish at a few times a year. I use mostly spinners and cranks, do okay in the spring and early summer, but can never catch dick in July save for a few yellow bass and small channel cats.

Do I need to git gud at soft plastics to hope of catching anything this time of year?
>>
>>806238
I'll try em out sometime. I'm going to get my boat. What do if I jack knife or something.
>>
>>806267
Dropshotting works well in the summer when the bass are in the deeper and cooler spots. Look up how to tie a dropshot palomar knot, basically you just tie a regular palomar but you bring the tag end back through the eye of the hook after you tie the knot. Doing that will make the hook stand perpendicular to the line.

Also night fishing for catfish during the summer is great.
>>
>>806267
Yeah mang, get some Brush Hogs and Texas rig them up. Find a drop-off or go right along a weed bed. Cast them out, let them drop, and give them little hops along the bottom with pauses for a second or three in between.

>>806268
The Strike King Perfect Plastics are also like the perfect size. They are a little smaller than regular Super Flukes but larger than the Jr's. And they have slots for the hook on the top and bottom so you can pop the hook through the plastic but it sits in there just perfect.

And lern2back with a trailer before you get to the boat ramp. It sucks getting stuck behind those people who don't know how to back a boat in when you want to get out on the water.

It will be pretty hard to jack knife the boat trailer unless you slam on your brakes as hard as possible. Just remember you have a trailer behind you and you will be fine. Take turns a little wide so you aren't hopping curbs with the trailer wheels.

Honestly I don't know, I always rip the package open and dump everything into my tackle box when I get new gear. I think they're Zoom brand and are just deep purple with some dark flakes in them.

As for the hooks, it looks like they're ewg but I don't remember what was on the package. Gonna go out again today with a popper or something and see if I have more luck, I've never been that great at setting the hook with jigs.

after 1 day of trailering you'll never think about it again.
Go to parking lot (empty) and practice backing up so you don't look stupid in front of lookie-lous at the boat ramp.

The Daiichi one here is a normal worm hook, and the rest are EWG's. A #2 regular worm hooks is pretty small for most soft plastic worms and largemouth.

And be careful dumping bags of plastucs into your tackle box. They can mess with other lures and plastics. And a lot of them are scented and oily and you might not want that to rub off.

Cheap baitcaster recommendations?
>>
>>806411
Abu Black Max or Silver Max are bretty solid for right around $50.

Some of those Lew's reels look nice, if they have any baitcasters for a good price I wouldn't hesitate to grab one of those.
>>
>>806415

Thinking of getting the black today. I want to learn how to use one this afternoon.

Is the silver worth 10 bucks more?
>>
>>806324
Well like I said I'd backed up trailers before, but I'd never pulled one very far. I was borrowing my moms truck and it wasn't bad at all. Gonna be a little sketchy in my car, but I think it'll be alright.

>>806411
+1 for black max
>>
>>806417
Idk I have the Silver Max and havenMt had any issues but TXfag has the Black Max and likes it too. And we both have more expensive baitcasters as well and still use the cheaper ones sometimes. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Black Max and I think Walmart has them for $40 which is $10 less than everywhere else.

How do you keep dead shrimp on a hook??? I have to use heavy weights on my drop shot rigs to get the shrimp to the bottom, but since the weights are heavy the force is too much and when the shrimp hits the water it tears it off the hook/mangles it. I've already switched from circle hooks to bait holder J hooks that I can thread the shrimp onto and it helps a little but not much. I freeze my dead shrimp and thaw it out in water before use if that helps
>>
>>806484
Keep it frozen and maybe keep a little bit of the shell on. How are you using the shrimp exactly? Cut up or whole?

yeah keep it frozen then and pass the hook several times through the shell. It should defrost in the water quickly

the gears were complete shit. I just looked them up again and it seems like they came out with a newer version thats supposedly a little better which is good because that old version was garbage compared to any semi decent baitcaster

Several times through the shell? How so? Also what do I do once I've reeled it in and want to re cast? I use the drops shot rig to bounce the bait along the bottom not for still fishing
>>
>>806519
Ive had my little Gander mountain reel for 3 years now and although its not that great it has never failed me like those two black maxes. As soon as you get your hand on an actually good reel... there is no way you can ever go back

>>806514
Huh. I mean mine is noticeably rougher than a higher end one, but it's not terrible imo. It might shit the bed in a year or so if I use it a bunch though, I can't say how durable it is.

You guys probably get asked this a lot, but I didn't see anything in the sticky about it

I've never done fishing before, and I am really interested in kayak fishing. What equipment do I need, and what brands should I get, assuming money is no object? Where are some good locations in the UK for it? I live in East Anglia, but I don't mind travelling.

Thanks in advance

Dick's has some bretty gud sales right now. Buy 2 get 1 free on all Yo-Zuris (the Father's Day sale had them BOGO but only the 3DBs so no Crystal Minnows and they were picked through). Also buy one get one 50% off on all Zoom, Rapala, Lunkerhunt, and Yamamoto lures. Would've been a good time to grab some Rapalas but I don't really need any but I have been wanting these Crystal Minnows.

>>806523
Failing by parts breaking is different than just being a poor functioning reel. I haven't heard of many issues with those Black Maxes, maybe you just got unlucky. I own nicer reels too and still can't complain about the Silver Max for the money.
>>
>>806539
I had two and both failed in the same exact way. it could be just bad luck but when it happens twice it usually says something about the quality of the product. What baitcasters do you own?
>>
>>806536
Not sure what brands you will get in the UK, but I'm just going to parrot everything I have learned from these threads.

A decent fishing kayak will normally start around $700-$800 and will have rod holders and storage and all that shit. There are fishing kayaks for $400-$600 but most of them will be pretty small ajd won't have a nice swiveling rod hokder or lots of storage. Lots of people prefer the sit on top over sit in style for fishing since it is easier to move around. Budget at least another $100 for a life jacket, paddles, and an anchor if needed. You could also think about fishfinders and all that good shit if you are willing to spend the money.

If you are going to be paddling in saltwater, you probably want to go with a larger kayak. And dress appropriately, it sounds like you are basically guaranteed to get wet.
>>
>>806543
Silver Max, Revo SX, and I had that W&M Sabalos for a minute which is a $90-$100 reel.

Def sounds like you got a bad batch or something, but I have owned a bunch of Abu reels and quality has never been an issue even on cheap ones.
>>
>>806546
no offense but those are mid to low tier baitcasters. Have you ever used an professional grade reel before?
>>
>>806549

>4chan
>implying we can afford expensive fishing equipment

it's all about the bang for the buck. i can see buying a nice reel down the line but given that i spent 50 on a baitcaster today and 65 on a spinner yesterday just to get one tier above zebco 33's, i'm sure many of our standards are just above average and nowhere near professional.

people often forget what 'professional' actually means, and i wonder if anybody here actually sells fish. i have a cousin that did that most of his life so it's not that far out of normal, but i assume most of us fish for recreation and just get by with enthusiast tier gear.

gearfagging is fun in and of itself though so don't get me wrong. i spent years on /p/ if that tells you anything.
>>
>>806549
Pretty much what he said >>806554

Maybe one day I will drop $400 on a reel and $250 on a rod, but I need to lern2manage muh money and stop spending $100/wk on little shit first.

Also, the Revo SX costs 3 times as much as the Black Max and Silver Max and I still think those reels are fine choices for what they cost. And trying to compare a $50 baitcaster to a $400+ """professional""" reel is just retarded.
>>
>>806554
Exactly
A friend of a fishing buddy has a 40 foot boat and had a commercial license for years
And i went out with him a few times

As for gear? Whatever we had and liked
And most of it was cheap(ish) and he rarley had issue catching near to his limits as long as he had half a dozen people on board ( 600 fish of certain species )

Ehh, I do want another decent baitcaster. Maybe around $200 for a Daiwa or something new. Like I said though, poor money management. I spend enough money on tackle that I could easily buy a $400-$500 combo once a month if I didn't have this compulsion to buy 5 new lures every time I go fishing (which is 4 days a werk at least).

With all this rain and heat the past week, I'm getting more bug bites than fish bites. Plus it's getting dark, so I'm about done over here.

I think I want to go to the Intercoastal or one of the inlets and cast around for shits and giggles. I'm trying to think of a good place where there won't be other people around who will laugh at me when it looks like I'm bass fishing in the ocean. It would also be nice if I found a spot where I could lift the fish out of the water if I were to hook something on 20lb braid and a 6'6" medium weight rod, so no pier.
>>
Guys, a buddy hooked me up to go to charter to catch yellowtail( pretty big fish) but the only gear I have is a cheap 35 dollar setup spooled with 12 lb test mono. How screwed am I?

>>
>>806669
bro your reel probably has a max drag of 5 pounds and will be absolute dog shit. if your going to fish yellow tail you need appropriate equipment to do so
>>
>>806669
First, medium weight rod can't handle yellowfin tuna.

Second, you could switch to braid but there are a few problems. Reels have a limit to the amount of drag, a medium weight bass reel normally has~15lb of drag max. And you could put the heavy braid but you will probably get spooled when a tuna decides to run on you and 80yds of line is gone in a few seconds.
>>
>>806669
Watch this video now and tell me your rod will handle it.
