Internet: On my phone I have 1 bar 3G, however with this nifty antanne I can get up to 30mbps dc-hspa+ and 80mbps LTE. Unfortunately 5G of data is $50 though I have a plan to get unlimited.

Second top antanne is to spread wifi across the block.

In time I will install a 30 - 50m tower in order to get gigabit Internet using airfiber radios

I've befriended a local reptile. He has an excellent paint job; similar to Aus-cam, though I couldn't get great photos as I didn't feel like standing up at the time. This fella has visited for the last few days. He likes left over chicken stir fry, is more curious than scared of me.

An excellent trick ive figured out, to save electricity. If you get a deep freezer, set to lowest possible setting -20c, put ur frozen shit in the bottom, layer of bagged ice in th middle. The top half is for not frozen. The freezer runs for a few hours during the day, the bottom half stays very frozen and th top half stays just below 0 so ur ice-coffee is just a little Icy. So get for everything except lettuce. I also have a fridge, just in case.
People will belly-ache about this idea, though I've tested it throughly, it works and suits my needs. Prob wouldn't work for snow monkeys.

Most people I know don't go looking for laws to follow and money to pay. You just buy the land and do what you want. It's honestly that simple. It's not like other countries where they'll come and shake you down every year, making you pay for permits to wipe your own arse. Just $200 p.a rates.

Ok, this adventure is partly to prove a point to some people. Financially is where its most obvious.
To survive here, it costs nothing. So there is no survival more anxiety. Its more of a 'pre-paid' lifestyle than the contractually obligated one most people are railroaded into.

The irony here, is the only way to not need money, is to have a decent amount of it to start with.

>Land $50k
>Portable Building $25k
>Fridge, Freezer, TV, Laptop, iPhone etc... $3k
>Solar, batteries, generator, water tank etc.. $5k
>Seeds, chooks, water pump, pipeline etc.. $1k

>Rent - Free
>Electricity, Water & Hot water - Free
>Fruit, Veg, Eggs, Grains, Chicken etc - Free

With that, you're set. You no longer need to spend money. However if you want to upgrade some luxury, its optional.

>Aircon, Fuel for generator $20
>Internet, Phone credit $50
>Ice coffee, junk food etc. $20
>Real food for a month $100+ (meat in freezer)
>Non perishable food for a month $100+
>Satellite TV - $25
>etc etc..

If you're on a student allowance in Australia ($200 per w). You could actually accumulate wealth. If you have a skill such a fixing computers, you can spend a day in town and make $400. So if you have a job, you will accumulate wealth fast.

For me personally. 20's I have no wife/gf, kids or other parasites yet. So it's easy.

The hardest part about wealth accumulation is the first $50k. Might be easy as some people are more inclined to slave labor, however those same people are less likely to be interested in leaving the system.

Clearing tracks is a great way to get that six pack you've always wanted.

>first step is to find a path with small diameter trees. Then push all those fuckers over.

>Give the tree corpses a week or two to die which makes step two, easier.

This is something i've noticed; usually with American posters. You are always so worried about if you're allowed to do something, or if you have a written note from your government to allow you to live your life how you want. Whats worse is you go around policing and having a go at other people about not having their own arse wiping permission slips.

You can live in a cardboard box for all the council cares, its called private property for a reason.

And here's a list of reasons why I think you and your kin are cancer on society.

>authorities
>legitimate dwelling
>council approved
>an actual house
>living in a sort of homeless way
>thus
>not eligible for certain services.

Just fuck right off.

Pic related, one of the services I'm not entitled to because my house isn't official. It was a gift from the government; so I know how many shekles i'm helping to keep from the jews.

OP you are autistic and an unpleasant person.

I was only asking to see whether you had experienced difficulties or not. I passed no comment on whether this was right or wrong, or deserved or undeserved. I simply wished to understand the facts of the situation.

I thought of it because someone in the thread said you should get a gun licence, and that made me think you would probably not be legally allowed to keep a firearm at a dwelling of your sort. Once again this is not a moral judgment on the rightness or wrongness of your situation. I just wish to know the realities.

this is because of one simple law in the US.

Ignorance of the law is not an excuse to break the law.

every year, there are 100s of new laws passed at the city, county, state and national level. however, to defend yourself you must have an attorney or a law degree because theres no way a regular citizen could know and correctly interpret the law. (its actually the law in some states that you cannot defend yourself unless its a small claims court) its fucking retarded i agree but there are no 2nd chances with american cops or american courts. so naturally our people are fucking scared. accidentally build on someone elses property? get ready to get sued for 1. the cost to professionally remove it 2. retribution 3. emotional damage. there goes your life savings. tried to do your own taxes and misplaced a decimal point? get ready to have your paycheck garnished until it's paid back and you paid the fines. did you build an out building without the proper permits? building inspector comes out and looks at your property and fines you up to $1000 per day until it's brought up to code or demolished. didn't demolish or dispose of everything it correctly? get ready for more fines because you can't do it that way. oh you just wanted to bring it up to code? we you need to get a licensed contractor to do it, inspect it and sign off on it. then you ned to take your paperwork down to the city building and stand in line to turn it in. what's this? your contractor didn't initial here next to the "used fire retardant insulation" safety box. well heres another fine and youo'll have to pay your contractor to come back out.

we stopped being the land of the free a long time ago, now we're the land of the bureaucratic. won't go away until we BURN THIS MOTHERFUCKER DOWN and start over.

fuck, i have to go drink a fucking beer now, typing that pissed me off. thanks /out/, thanks allot.

I agree with OP though, you are a cunt and you can fuck right off.

Please keep making these threads OP, It'd be great if you kept us updated on this project.

I'm not the one OP was talking to. The fact that he made inaccurate and sweeping generalizations, criticizing shit that he has no fucking clue about and ranted over because someone asked a question is acting pretty assblasted. I just called him out on it. Deal with it.

My sneaky idea was to get a '3' unlimited data sim, with free roaming overseas.
I was hasty in thinking I could out-think the bandwidth jews. They cap roaming data at 12GB. Which is still better than any aussie carriers. Plus I can access the big three networks in Aus; with two sims, I can get 24GB on 4G network for £40 per month.

What is the legality of this in the US? I was thinking of buying 40-50 acres in Washington State and just having some small cabin with solar power and gathering water from a creek, and digging a giant hole to shit in.

Do it. What they don't know about they can't prohibit you from doing.

m8 what do you know about the area around coonabarabran?

There are really well-priced bush blocks for sale, but I don't know much about the climate and people there.

>living NEET life

Don't do it, waaaay to rural.
It's not called coona-barren-land for no reason. I used to live at Walgett, the black fellas are still wild out there.

Unless you are an abo, or some other darkskinned immigrant, you were not designed to live in this part of the world. And if you are one of the above you would only survive here off welfare anyway.

So, OP. I notice that there be loads of interest for cheap land. Are there people buying the properties just to level the forest for some pissy reason like cheap firewood, pasture, or a mansion with nothing but grass and a shrub or two, you get the idea.

Coona is pretty shit and dry, I'd look around Oberon-Yetholme-Hampton-Porters Retreat, 3hrs from Sydney city, yet nice and rural. Blayney/Orange is cheap too but sits in a cold depression so it's warmer in summer and cold at winter.

That being said we are at 1000m here so we get snow but plenty of trees + wood stove = free heating.

I'm NEET from the sale of my Sydney apartment less mortgage & work savings.

I also now sell fertile chicken eggs Australia wide (via post) and geese locally.

No NBN Fixed wireless? We're on that gravy train, out of service range but buying a mountain has its advantages we are higher than everything, including the tower and as such get better reception than folks within the zone.

Is there really any cheap land in Oberon, Hampton and surrounds? Thought it was all costly pasture.

I know a sweet, sweet place where you can stay for free there in nice accommodation, flanked by plantations. Wedged between Vulcan state forest. Probably a few posters there this minute.

Also, how are the mushrooms? Haven't gone as it's been dry as anthought that there's be no hope for it. Also, are there really elk and all which have been released by hunters in the state forests?
>>
Tasmania is dirt cheap at the moment.

I'm in the US and got $200K to buy land and tiny house/cabin. What state should I be shopping around in? Thinking about Washington or Michigan. I could probably get more land elsewhere but I like the hunting opportunities up north and everywhere else sounds like the middle of nowhere.
>>
>>710483
Regenerate the land, or get someone like Greening Australia to come right in and regen the place. You might even get paid per hectare for the regeneration work they can offer, as long as you don't allow for grazing of your livestock on the area, which you probably don't.

Tassie is really good if you want a smallish plot of land (10 acres or so) with a cheap but functional house on it. You can get places like that within an hours drive of Launceston or Hobart.

But if you want a big bit of land (100 acres+) Tassie is less good because you almost never find that much land going cheap like you can in Qld or NSW.
>>
>>702657
Go on...
>>
I am interested in your specifics:

Initial cost
Maintenance cost (Monthly)
Caloric food intake (Daily)
Electricity generated / used / stored (Daily)
Communication relay / satellite internet / ham radio

Regions of Australia that are viable and how to find them:
Yearly temperature ranges
Bushfire threat assessment
Location relative to coast and fresh waterways
Soil ph and water table level

What activities are required:
Vegetable, fruit and animal production / maintenance
General skills, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, woodworking, medicine or first aid?

My goal would be growing vegetables with aquaponics near coastal/mountain land and fresh waterways, keeping geese and goats for meat, milk, eggs. With a small permanent living cube cache for storing long term food, weapons and communications buried underground. I would camp and hunt on the land itself, butchering and smoking the big animals a few times a year to control their population, mostly living off of fish and the vegetables I grow. The idea is to transition from suburban to this lifestyle over the next 2 or 3 decades. I estimate $500k AUD required in savings.

Looking at Northern Spain, Northern Europe, New Zealand and Tassie. I really don't want to be anywhere near the tropics.

Cmon nigger make up your mind,
Washington and Michigan are completely different, why not get some land by Coeur D'Alene, be inbetween Spokane and (slightly further away)Missoula while being up in the rockies. Way better hunting in that area unless you're looking for whitetail and vermin.

Yes there is, 500acres was going for $200k not long ago, plenty of bargains around some with houses others in the $60k range without. Price is all about proximity to highway & mill; further out, cheaper.

We're 35K from town but it's quicker to travel than 35K than going to Coles one suburb over where we used to live.

The fact everyone drives at 130kmh out here also gets you places quicker :)

Breed, eat, sell.

They're really intelligent and great company. Always greet us when we go out the back door or drive in the driveway. Really good watch "dogs" for snakes & intruders (of the human, fix and pig type).

Would recommend. Get goslings if you want friends and a close relationship, adults for more independence.

No, but one got head butted by our goat and they gathered and attacked him until he fled onto the barbwire fence slashing his throat open and dying. They can be firm when threatened, so it's great having them on your side!
