What's up /out/ers? I'm curious to see what some of you have acquired recently. Also, for those of you getting tax returns, do you plan on picking something up? Post pics and a link or two to what you just bought or will buy soon.
Two modest acquisitions:
The North Face Blue Kazoo sleeping bag. Snagged it Friday on eBay new from a search and rescue co-op who was trying to raise funds for other equipment. Winning bid was $130.

Picked up a cheap, but modestly high rated hammock for my chick. I have one also, but bought it over a year ago. Mine has been to five states, two continents and seven countries since then and held up fine.

Snagged a pair of Fischer Big Stix 180s second hand for $175. They need a wax and tune up but the bindings are in good shape and they're 106mm under foot so I'll have better float off groomer and on powder days.

MFH woodland smock.
Two sizes too large- because I'm gonna layer everything beneath it (Base layer, Fleece Jacket, and maybe Plate Carrier if the happening happens)
Shitty picture because my phone is a brick.
Two small watertight Nalgenes for spices and whatnot, and 15m of line.

Canadian Tire sounds like such an awesome place. I want to go north of the border one day just to visit a Candian Tire.
I wonder if the local currency exchange will change my Benjamins into those Canadian Tire Bucks.

that's a power auger, you can get a hand operated one for a hell of a lot cheaper and it's easier to carry
Expensive but hopefully it's worth it!
Anyone have this underquilt? What do I need to know?
Getting one of these in a couple of weeks. Pretty psyched about it.

My gf just bought me my first tent for my birthday. It's a Kelty Salida 2. I'm pretty stoked about it as it seems like a great tent, especially for a beginner.
