>6k rpm drone on the highway

Same thing for me. The PO even went as to have a 45 rear sprocket as opposed to a 43, so I'm sitting in 7k doing about 130km/h. It's retardedly loud, I'm a ridiculous distance far back (100m?) and people already start moving to the right.

Maybe for occasional use exhausts like that are doable, but everyday usage is pretty bad.

The little kids with their "woah" faces while you pass by in everyday traffic is priceless though. The keybangers are ridiculous too, I can see half a tunnel flashing behind me at night.

I did feel horribly cramped on an R6 though, if you're going to daily a hundred miles on one, perhaps there's a better alternative? I'm 6'1" in freedom units

late 94 CBR600F (F3)

Visually only the rear fairing is stock (I think?). Registration document said bike was red upon purchase. Probably pic related.

>>15455052
Sure anon. I bought this bike to do retarded mountain runs, I'll only sell it if I'm unhappy with the handling after new tires and perhaps some suspension tunning, so you'll be getting that. Why would you want it though? It's not very comfortable or very fast...

It does gives me 90s boners, but if I'm going to have something from the 90s just for the sake of it I need something with dual round headlights for the ultimate boner.

>>15455085
Might be a better bike as it has a 120/70 on the front as stock and the fuel injection hopefully stopped most POs from doing badly thought-out fueling changes. I think the suspension was improved a bit and it has a fuel light which is cool. It's a valid choice.

The engine and transmission are rock solid.

I think with these old bikes what you get varies too much with how the POs treated it. A neglected one will probably not be a lot of fun, but a well taken care of one can rock your socks off.

Still though, I sat on my buddies 2006 (I think) CBR600RR and it felt sooo smooth. The suspension and the build quality and everything nice and clean and so on. Made me feel like my CBR was something from the dark ages. Newer bikes have that appeal.

kek, I do really need to get a mirror though because I can't see shit with this one and I'd like to be able to see if I'm not getting rammed in stops and what not

also some negro went to my restaurant asking for a job, we said we we're full and he started threatening us, calling us racist and speaking in his shit language, went to the next restaurant and did the same kek
sadly I didn't realize he threaten the waitress and my mom when he left, otherwise I'd have smashed his face and it has been awhile since I sparred in my gym

id take a trip to the local auto shop or parts store and use a battery tester on it and see how it does with a load.
your bike being totally stock wit hEFI should be almost identical to my vstrom which also bleeds the battery down over weeks, it died once and now i have to top it up on a biweekly basis to make sure itll start.
if your batt fails a load test, pick up a new one and dont skimp and get a scorpion or some chink shit as youll need another within a year

The postal system is still cucking me out of a multitester, I'll call a mechanic tomorrow and ask if he has time.

I'm not rich enough to buy cheap things. The battery I have is listed at around 40 euro here, which is equivalent to most offered. Perhaps it really is ancient.

Hopefully the problem is not a busted alternator.

Smoothness is key for ALL riding, not just going fast.

If you're not smooth you'll get jerked around and the bike will probably get upset and behave erratically regardless of whether you're going 10mph or 100.

SV650 with battery problem here

In lieu of anything else, I've recharged the battery (suspiciously it went back to full in less than 2 hours, first time this happened it took 5 or 6) and for testing put it back in the bike, started up once (worked) and left it like this. It's 6pm here now, I'll pull it out at midnight and see if it's drained some.

I guess I'll visit the mechanic about testing and the horn tomorrow anyway. At least the bike in general works. Bodes ill for technical inspection on the 25th and SEM but I'll do my best to succeed at both.

Are you wanting a primarily street or dirt helmet? If for both, I'd recommend the Shoei Hornet, as the visor has more vents so that it doesn't catch as much air.

I mean you should buy a shoei anyway because why would you waste your money on a meme helmet like the fucking variant which is as much as it is and still a poly carbonate helmet.

About some 300m down this road the mostly abandoned houses ended and it pretty much turned into a mountain bike trail with rocks the size of tenis balls everywhere.

I should have taken a picture to show how ridiculous the whole endeavor was but I was too terrified trying to turn around and nopeing the fuck outta there.

I still didn't explore all I wanted, there most definitely is a way down to the beach down there, but I think it will be that — a hiking / MTB trail.

Also in another road:

>bike isn't stopping, can't take right foot of the ground
