So I dug through all like 12 previous iterations of the vertical night shift slap, and this is (in my opinion) the best non-halftone version. Honestly, I think it feels pretty flat, but If you want it you're welcome to it. Alternatively, I can whip up a quick preview of all the versions I've done and let you pick. Another alternative for your consideration is a remastered version of the original night shift slap, which I'd also be happy with sending your way.

I've got a couple emails about when stickers will arrive. I just wanted to let anyone that is wondering know that I've gotten a little backed up due to work and the holidays.

When they arrive after the six month lead time or whatever it is, what's the best way to apply them? I never put stickers on my car before. I plan on only putting them on the windows, they won't fuck with a professional tint job, will they? And if I decide to remove them they won't leave any irreparable residue, will they?

The t410s I have was only about 250 if I remember right and it came with an SSD, 4GB of ram, a decent processor, and a GPU, though I'd get a different model because the battery is shit on these things. I just use it to watch chinese cartoons in bed and it does the job fine.

I agree with Notori that Thinkpads are better, but if you want something really small and slim, it's dope. Web apps run perfect. Install Linux and other things are fine too. I completed Half-Life and a couple of indie titles on it just fine. Just be aware that Windows is more or less impossible. Also Chrome OS is getting full Android support soon, but be aware that without a touchscreen, most devs could care less about the platform. So if you're okay with the limitations, I recommend it. Although other Chromebooks might be better for the price at this point. I'd research before I dished out the cash. Be sure to check out the third party bios and Linux support.

i'd need some sort of proper temperature data off the tailpipe of a motorcycle for anything fool proof though.
basically, it seems that there are some types of industrial labels designed to be printed using laser printers, which if you know how those work, they're a hot as fuck roll inside, which can with other types of vinyl melt the vinyl and gum up the printer.
so keeping laser printing ones in mind as well as ones for ovens, boilers, and furnaces, the materials to do it certainly exist as well as the adhesives that will never come up with a heat gun.
Theres also many non-industrial products that are poured hot into containers
Application methods would likely be different than standard vinyl of course though, and I wouldn't recommend putting them on paint you like
MP238 adhesive is what seems to be their most durable to temperature, and is rated for temperatures between -40°F to +257°F (-40 to +125°C)
so if water droplets don't instantly burst into steam after a ride you'll probably be ok

Generally speaking a sudden surge of heat wouldnt kill a sticker unless it's incredibly inappropriate for the use, so if you run some tests keep in mind that what causes the damage is long term exposure at higher temperatures
idle or non-idle surface temperatures of a vehicle are usually only about 25% hotter than it's environment i'd say (Unless it's painted a darker colour inwhich case it'd be a bit higher than that)
but with active heat being forced towards it from the engine, well its fun.
this isn't the first time i'd looked into these sort of things either, i used to spend some time designing electrical generators that used parabolic curves and reflection rates of various materials and coatings is an interesting subject

it's also important to remember that the entire tailpipe won't be the exact same temperature throughout, so the adhesive and vinyl closer to the engine will wear down faster than that closer to the end of the hole (without being on the edge, as that would wear down even faster due to chemical residues)
luckily inks are usually pretty temperature stable, but as molecules are more activated when heated they're more likely to react, so even some that are usually water, abrasion and chemical resistant, can lose their resistances when heated.
(ice scraper test combined with boiling water allows water to soak into the suddenly more porous surfaces further softening than with heat alone allowing a failure when ice scraper test is performed)
