I have to shift slower for instance, because people who check always get nervous if your shifting is under one second. No double clutching, no heal toe. Fucking have to take 3-5 seconds to shift "smoothly" so they don't shit their pants about "it seems like you are panicing and don't know what you are doing.

Next Dirt Rally event, starting in two days from now, will last only for a week, but it'll also contain just four stages (and repair zone) so anyone can finish it. I'll probably adjust them to be longer in next events, for now i'd like to check how many people will find a moment to finish it through one week.
First week will be about Group A in Wales, second week is 60's in Finland.

Good question, to race in a motion simulator like myself you need some nice clothing.
Here is what I use:
-Fire retardant underwear, under shirt, balaclava and socks
-Italian made leather racing shoes
- Alpinestars gp tech suit
- Bell RS7 carbon helmet w/ drinks bottle tube
-Italian hand made leather racing gloves
Extras:
I also strap an catheter around my leg as well, for that my rig includes the Alibaba Gold Brand premuim medical catheter. For the tubes I use Alibaba carbon catheter tubes.
This gear really adds to the simulation value of my racing.

Reminder that the 86s is a points league, but I can't into points system so I'm doing it old school.
As of round 1 andi is leading with 2 second places and 36 points, with exos being 2 points behind him, and aspirations breaking the german domination while being 2 points behind exos. Meanwhile my retarded ass has to settle for 6th because I pulled a great escape for race 2. Otherwise, the races were fun and fully hektik.
I'll see you next week in sebring club. Sebring is much smoother, but with the hairpin being the last corner, there is potential for some great battles for position at the last laps.

These cars lock up quite easily(lel 80s brakes), so chances are that if you dive with more speed, you'll peel both tyres while going in the grass. You're best chance is bleeding into your oppenent's line, but even then, the cars grip quite nice even if you get the tail loose, so your move might not work out when your opponent puts power down better than you on the outside, ultimately getting faster speed on the start/finish line.

You have to modulate the throttle, a lot of the time when i am driving even in a straight line you got to keep a varied throttle input. Use that spin you get from punching the throttle to your advantage to help you turn into corners. Think of the throttle as more of a steering wheel then your actual wheel. It really is in RWD.
A helpful thing i have found to keep in mind is to throttle then steer once the rear starts coming out. If you steer then throttle most of the time you will spin out or get two much of an angle when you don't need to. Now this is not always a rule i follow but it's really good to keep in mind.

Yeah maybe for complete efficiency sake but if you want to be a good rally driver you have to know how to rally in a RWD car. The mechanics you take from driving RWD will help you greatly in 4WD. Theirs a lot less room for error in RWD and much more mechanics involved in driving it. For the sake of fast stages and time obviously 4WD will be superior but for me RWD is a lot more enjoyable to drive and rewarding.

Yet another idea for mixed event, group B RWD vs some weak 4wds, maybe R4 group, and in many different kinds of surface. Should be comparable, maybe with some small penalty for R4's because RWD is still RWD.

I think it always has been like that, maybe the last bit is just a spring for tolerances so that no one breaks the motor or something.
I just measured the real ° and it comes to about 870-880.
Also, the important bit is that wheel turn is replicated in game, maximum rotation isn't that much big of a deal unless you do slow ass super tight ass hairpins all the time.

Let me see if I can manage to explain it, I only learned by trial and error.
A trick is to break to a safe % where you won't lock, say, 50%, and then rev the engine up with a light tap.
For the tap, don't use your leg, but rather, while keeping the ball of the foot as a center point on the brake, rotate the feet towards the gas pedal to tap it.
It doesn't matter if you let off the brakes (because breaking less is better than locking up and losing traction) a bit while doing this, first get the hang of the motion.
After a while you'll get better at right foot control and be able to brake harder and heel-toe the mofo with better technique .
Also, if you're into anime/jdm racing, check out Best Motoring / Hot Version, they have some cool videos about car control, which include that, at least to try to imitate what you see on the footwork camera.
