The career mode in 6 is much smaller than 4, but other than that it's all good. You can find good online lobbies if you know what to look for, but your best bet would be to join our club and add the members as friends. If you're going to get a wheel, get one that's PS4-compatible, i.e.: Thrustmaster T150, Thrustmater T300 or Logitech G29. Good luck with your cockpit build.

Netcode has always been a problem in Assetto Corsa but that last patch seems to have really fixed it this time. Nobody teleported into anybody and I was racing side by side with a guy with 250 ping and we tapped each other a couple times without it suddenly sending us flying into the wall at 300mph.

But say I don't play on PC and I only have pcars to use, what similar track progression could I use to learn?
Sadly, the only tracks in common between the series calendar and pcars are Silverstone and Cadwell park, so I need alternatives.

Yeah I used to use a tunneling service to play GT4 online all the time, would run the 276 horsepower cars on road tires with a group of friends.
I had the DFP steering wheel, which was epic. I miss it dearly.
Driving the road cars is great because you have enough time to do finite inputs that really influence the handling. It's not the same with the LMP's or F1 car. I could put up some hardcore laptimes.

The tracks picked in the rf2 driving school have nothing to do with the difficulty driving on them. You can learn driving anything on pretty much every track. Shorter tracks probably help doing so.

No, they're not thrown together in any particular progression - they're just short tracks that are (mostly) fun to drive while allowing competitors to tackle all sorts of corners, elevations, overtaking opportunities etc

NOBODY has any trust in you as an organiser any more and you still think people are just fucking around when they say you're a shit organiser. You said that being a series organiser is more than just picking tracks, cars and a race format, so why the fuck is that all you did except for producing drama?
With that aside, the aiws look the same, so I don't even know what the problem was because I didn't race. But trying to put the blame on me for converting a track everyone wanted to run that we had previous experience with is a load of fucking bullshit, I literally dont do anything other than click a button, rar it up and upload it. In the end it's YOUR role as the series organiser to doublecheck that shit still works like it did in rF1, and if it doesn't, actually ORGANISE a workaround so that it's close enough - whether that's reorganising grid positions or whatever, or whatever the fuck was needed to fix what the issue was today.
