Been thinking of getting an XT660X. There's one for sale and it's a 2010 and has 800 miles on it, and basically lived in a garage all its life. It looks like it just rolled off the production line and the price is good. Should I pull the trigger?

Probably the ironically massive micron exhausts on it. It's up for €4.5k.

I'd probably be keeping my '98 Hornet 250 too, which cost me €1.5k.

Well it isn't a dirtbike. Big singles are a blast to be retarded on.

>>13967572
Jesus. You can get a Mivv one for ~500€ if I remember well. 4500€ isn't that bad for 800 miles but I'd try to knock it down a hundred or two.

I have ridden a XT660 before my dbt days and I really liked it. While there have been improvements over times in bikes in general, the big single off-roadish bike is a timeless thing for me. You could own a brand new XT or one from 20 years ago, they're both fun. It's a thing that sticks and you can own for a long time. Well, at least that's the feeling I got, but then I got the ugly cousin instead.

The XT660X has the bonus of having 17" wheels if you only wanna do road stuff.

I worked with it for example on a computer that's part of the electronic flight system in some airplanes by Airbus
It's a quite big connector, it has 600 pins and is quite sturdy, that's why it's expensive

Should I buy a Yamaha FZ16?
I'm about to give up fixing my other 2 bikes and I need a cheap bike to ride to work and university. It's about 28km daily.
I'd totally buy a grom but small cool bikes aren't available here.

What's that?

I love my gold tint visor. Saves me from headaches and looks cool.
Just no night riding with it.
