I'm /r/ing this one Twingo video that was posted in the Twingo thread a couple months back.
It is an extended advertisement for the 1st gen Twingo. It is in French. Everything about it is incredibly 90's and the song even sounds like laughing and then "Hon Hon!".
I tried to YouTube it but when I google "French Twingo TV Ads" all of the videos that pop up are "Gay Twingo Ad Banned From TV". Plus US Youtube doesn't really show French videos when searching.

Was thinking about buy a bunch of twingos (like low mileage ones, good condition, general grandma cars) and stock them until it is legal to import them to the US so I'd be the Twinger Dealer...

YES! faggots on /o/ ask about someone doing that in every other Twingo thread. The cars are illegal to import until they're 25 years old, so combine that and looking for examples with no rust that run well.

Absolutely. I was already planning on paying one of my dad's friends in Canada to hold one for me until then too. Make sure you store them clean and away from the elements or they'll just rust away faster, and start them every few weeks to keep them running. Put fuel stabilizer in the tanks, and if you can, leave them on 4 jackstands each so the tires don't get flat spots. Otherwise, drive them around a bit when you start them too to make the wear on the tires even.
If you can find me a blue one with the giant flappy cloth sunroof and put bread on the hood to prove you're storing it, I'll send some cash your way.
Make sure to avoid the "easy" models, they have an absolutely terrible automatic that breaks down all the time and is expensive to repair and hard to find parts for.
I don't understand why only the Twingo gets all the love when the 1998 Clio is so similar.
