(I know sticky said credible source, sorry)
30 skinheads in California try to have a rally, but an anti-fasist group gets there first planning on breaking up the rally. Fighting broke out with knives, sticks, and concrete and multiple people were injured.
Police arrived to keep the groups separate but failed. Anti-fasist were accusing the police of being in league with the skinheads. No arrest as of yet.
I'll be the first to say fuck skinheads, but 1st amendment is 1st amendment and they should not have to fear for their lives during a peaceful protest. What do tall think?
Definitely the ones who fought.
Apparently they did know the anti group would be there threatening violence, so they brought knives (legal length) and refused to "stand down".
Not all of us white people are crazy, but it does get old having everyone call me a skinhead because I shave and like black boots because of retards like this existing.
>"They never should have gotten a permit to begin with," she said. "The police were out here protecting them. One of our main chants is, 'Cops and Klan go hand in hand' because we know the police are out there to back them up."
>Art Roderick, a CNN law enforcement analyst, said it's common for opposing groups to hold simultaneous protests, but law enforcement usually keeps them separate. It appears the counter-protesters simply overwhelmed the TWP, he said.
>"They (the counter-protesters) were there for one reason and that was to use violence to break the other group up," Roderick said. "It looks like anywhere from 100 to 200 of them showed up against 30 of the other."
No matter what your views are
No matter what color you are
You have the right to assemble and speak your views in this fucking country.
Shutting down political rallies and protests that you don't agree with is just as "Nazi" as you claim your political enemies to be.
Eventually some Trump supporter is going to use a CC pistol to protect himself from some guy trying to bash his head in and kill some Mexican kid, and this is going to devolve into a civil war between Antifa paramilitiaries, NatSocs, and anybody that doesn't agree with either.
Is this what we want now?
Threats of violence against those who wish to control by violence is... paradoxically effective.
Obviously we don't want to become their equals, but when one oversteps the boundary of having a 'different opinion' into promoting identity politic warfare, there is no alternative way to deliver a message.
As the neofascist money men increasingly fear instability, the truth of the neutrality of violence becomes clear.
>Exactly. Trump did everything he could to get people fighting at his rallies including offering to pay their court cost.
It's fucked up that for months there was routine violence at Trump rallies--people stomping and dragging the shit out of black people, Mexicans and Middle Eastern people who were just minding their own business--but when shit eventually came back and Trump supporters started getting attacked the narrative became that Trump supporters are a bunch of victims and any and all violence is just self defense against the mean ol' scary BernieBros.
And having weapons is not a crime either. If I support something and I know that a bunch of people who hate me for it are going to show up where I am, I'm expecting bad things. Which in this case actually happened. Nazi or not, the only ones doing anything wrong here are the antifa
Every fucking day. Every fucking day the US is becoming the goddamn Weimar Republic. Things are polarizing quickly, politically charged fights in the streets are becoming much more common than they were 5 years ago, we're all facing major reactionary pushback in response to rampant radical leftist nonsense imbuing mass media and political rhetoric.
We all know what came after the Weimar republic
>Yvette Felarca, who said she was a member of the group By Any Means Necessary, told CNN she came out to let people know that racist and anti-immigrant viewpoints would not be tolerated.
I'd rather ignore a peaceful band of skinheads than be threatened what to think by a battalion of new Weathermen. If free expression, even if it's reprehensible, is this dangerous then maybe the police should escort the neo Nazis to their constitutionally protected assembly.
>Yvette Felarca, who said she was a member of the group By Any Means Necessary, told CNN
Also she told her name and affiliation to a reporter.
Fascism was an international political movement in Europe that existed between the World Wars. That's why neo Nazis are illegal in Germany.
This thing with the violent hippies and academics isn't fascism. It prizes individual people over conformers in a society, dislikes military parades, thinks Jews are the best, etc.
This desu. National Socialists don't deserve a voice.
They signed away their rights the moment they put the interest of the population first.
I hope some brave group of individuals finally frees us from these horrible people.
Also being a Nazi doesn't make you a criminal. I'm not saying I support it, but I don't think it makes you a criminal. Saying they don't deserve a voice is not allowing a group of people their basic rights, rights everyone is born with. Where in the Constitution does it say people with different beliefs have different rights
Yep. My graduating class was 2000 people half black/half camo rednecks.
People are blind. Is like trump supporters don't use the Internet and just go to rallies.
Exactly my point. Attacking a group you don't agree with is not going to stop them, it's just going to escalate the violence level. AF need to chill the fuck out before they start a shooting in the streets.
>they were attack because of their race
How deluded are you?
Did you not see the video of that black guy Trump supporter getting up and decking the white protester?
Both sides are filled with violence, it is however, a much larger prevalence from anti-trump people than Trump supporters.
Like the guy getting a literal brick to the head for being a Trump supporter.
i might be able to shed some light on this. I lived in the CA central valley for a few years and my dad and step mom are both in law enforcement.
the claims that were made by the counter protesters are qutie true, especially in Clovis CA. But there is more than just racist cops and small town politics at work here.
The police also hate poor and working class whites there, too. Like a crazy hate on for "white trash". i used to watch broke white kids record their interactions with the cops just like the black, hispanic and asian kids did. I look like white Erkle and i would get hard stares from cops if i was out after dark.
oh one more thing, we went thru three DAs before we found one that would promise not to prosecute the back log of wrongful death investigations involving the cops. yeah, they were beating homeless people to death here.
i don't have much to say about the rally, just thought i would add my piece of the puzzle
