I live on a side-branch of the San Andreas Fault line, the one that's going to make California pretty much break when the big one comes.

I keep a bug-out bag with clothes, cooking supplies, 3 days of water, food, improvised shelter, first aid equipment, 12 shotgun shells and 20 rounds of 9mm just for when everything collapses and we have to wait a week on government aid.

Seeing a bunch of news reports of a "mysterious foam" floating around the internet, and ironically it was how I first heard of this tragedy.

My heart goes out to the Japanese and their resolve to continue their way of life in one of these most dangerous places to start a civilization(on a fault line, at the base of a volcano), but can someone please verify whether or not this is "hoax" click bait, or is there seriously some damage control being done.

At first glance, it would appear a truck carrying soap was struck and its cargo emptied out into the roadways as a result of earthquake damage, falling objects, etc, but the news sites are trying to make it sound like this stuff started creeping up from the ground moments after the tremors were felt in a town nearby.
