I did go to a driving school before I took the test to get my license, but I don't think that factored in at all.
I think, maybe in my case, I have a higher tolerance for not being shocked by things. Thinking about it, this stems both from listening to music pretty loud (in the car and otherwise), so I'm no longer shocked by loud noises (when I was a kid, apparently loud noises really got to me) and also I've had people yell things at me from cars and stuff while I'm walking, and I just try to not make any response, since that seems like the best thing to do. Just guessing, though.
