> After a solid 100-year effort, the New Hampshire primaries have finally jumped the shark. Members of that wise, often taciturn tribe of New England Yankees were long renowned for their uncanny ability to sort the presidential wheat from the chaff, to pick the pretenders from the contenders. Credit where it’s due, it was an extraordinary run.

> But when the ideologically rudderless Donald Trump and democratic socialist Bernie Sanders run away with the top prizes, and lifelong pols get sent home with trophies for participation, the contest has finally lost whatever political gravitas it may once have had.

Indeed, the biggest winner from the first-in-the-nation fracas this year wasn’t even on the ballot: Michael Bloomberg.

> Will Americans from Mississippi to Maine join hands to applaud a candidate who wants to ban Big Gulps, lauds “stop and frisk,” and built both his name and his fortune on Wall Street? Only if the other options on the ballot are as noxious as they are unqualified to assume the most powerful and consequential job on the planet.

>dude your anger is irrational let's all chill out and vote for the status quo

Love how quickly the MSM switches narrative. They love scandal and outrage until two politicians channel that sentiment.

>Bloomberg would need to move swiftly and be prepared to put not just his name, but some of his considerable fortune behind a disruptive, start-up campaign. It would be a supremely patriotic gesture.

But when Trump did exactly the same thing....

Guy is a total Bloomberg shill

Back in 2000 they were BEGGING Bloomberg to run for president. Trump & the radical Dems now force him out of hiding so they have to keep the grease on to make sure he doesn't recede back into the obscurity from whence he came.
>>
Bloomberg is going to try to pull a Ralph Nader to upset the balance so Hillary can squeeze out on top.

I dont understand. How could bloomberg garner any conservative votes? He's the bluest of democrats. If anything he'd weaken Hillary/Bernie's run and make trump a sure win. WTF did I miss?

>often taciturn tribe

kek

>2 Jews running for president

I'm sure this will be a tough contest for Trump.
>>

No, he is gonig to run to spoil Bernie Sanders. He is Mr Wall Street so he must stop Bernie at all costs to protect their freedom. If Hillary gets the nomination he won't run.

>Bernie "Real communism hasn't been tried yet " Sanders
or
>Michael "NWO has not been tried yet,1%-ers should rule you all" Bloomberg

Truly we live in amazing times, literal extreme left and extreme right

If there is one person who knows how to get rid of brown people its Bloomberg. The city was never better.

If he can do it without cutting off watermelon supplies I'll vote for him!
>>
>>22346
>ideologically rudderless
>"I don't like him, so I will pretend the things he says do not exist."
>>
>>22346
Painfully obvious the Boston Globe is still ass-pained after Trump made their lack of business acumen and failing financials a talking point at many of his rallies. He has turned them into a punchline, and rightfully so.

>He's the bluest of democrats

He hasn't been a Democrat since 2001, he was Republican while mayor of NYC, and now he's an independent. He'd potentially pull some wall street supporters, but I can't imagine he'd pull anybody at all, especially since that demographic is probably pretty cynical of voting for an independent or third party.
