did he died ?
>>975110
Wow, that's brutal. I always feel a little nervous when cars are approaching at high speeds from behind. I just hope they don't hit me like that...
>>975128
No. He had a helmet.
>>975131
If I am gonna be hit hard enough to die I hope they hit me just like that, wont feel a thing
>>975156
>wont feel a thing
If he did died I doubt he died right there and then. Unless the impact knocked him unconscious he was probably awake while his organs bled to death.
Usually when people say “person died instantly” it's anywhere between actually instantly and like a minute.
>>975200
It was three people, a 50something man, his 5 year old granddaughter, and some guy in his 30s
The guy in his 30s was hit off camera and survived with severe injuries
The 50 year old and the kid (both in the video) both died
The cager was high and drunk and only got 10 years in prison because they totally came outta nowhere and he is so traumatized by the damage to his hood he doesn't even enjoy his cage repair hobby anymore

This is why I ride on the sidewalk if possible. Every single time I switch to the street, a scenario like this goes through my head.
>>975141
Looks like he shit his pants though
>>976164
first one was. woman running over her ex-bf after she found out he was HIV+
>>972913
>go for long ride on my old saddle which was 100% pressure on my perineum
>in pain
>get home and try to have a wank
>can't get an erection
Changed saddle now and it's so much better, it's actually on my sitbones now.

>>975110

not him but riding on the sidewalk is 100% legal in florida as long as you respect stop signs and other traffic laws. there's barely any pedestrians walking on any sidewalk too. you'd be a fool to ride on the asphalt here. even if it wasn't legal though, I would still ride on the sidewalk. I've heard of too many horror stories here from people biking in the bike lane.
>>977730
>fucking cagers endangering MY safety how dare they reeeeeeeeee!
>fuck your safety i'll endanger you if it suits ME reeeeeeeeee!
fucking cyclists man
>>977792
>cycling on sidewalk endangers pedestrians
Source on that bud? Every statistic I've seen says that (presumably drunk) drivers are a bigger threat to pedestrians on the sidewalk than all cyclists combined.
>>977796
lol feller I know you're a NEET but come on a US college campus at some point
>>977829
That would involve setting fott in your third world country which will never happen. Please show the statistics of cyclist on pedestrian injuries. Put up or shut up.

The numbers are low, and far lower than car/pedestrian accidents, but cyclists can and do kill or seriously injure pedestrians.

In the country I live, it is 'encouraged' to ride on the road after a certain age, but not prohibited to be on the sidewalk.
I love riding on the road, and I do it whenever I feel safe, meaning in a remote area with little traffic and no speeders. In the city area though, people are crazy and streets are not set out for bikers anyway, so I prefer having a thick layer of parked cars between me and the cagers. It's common sense to be considerate towards pedestrians and give them the main space, after all it is meant for walking.
It all depend on where you are and the overall conditions of traffic and the street itself.
>riding my bike to a new destination
>shitty roads the entire time, but no close calls
>get to the road that my destination is on and decide to just take the sidewalk because road is super busy
>almost get hit 3 times by people pulling in and out of driveways
riding on sidewalks is much more dangerous than roads, anyone that disagrees doesn't have the experience to know better, anyway you look like a pussy regardless
>>979129
That's what we keep trying to tell people.
If you're gonna ride on the sidewalk, you have to be extra vigilant for that kind of thing.
Not only driveways, but people turning in front of you as you cross a street.
Motorists only use their blinkers half the time around other cars, if they don't see another one to signal to, there's even less of a chance they'll use it.
