There's a few select channels with amazing catalogues eg olla-vogala, fyrexianoff, hexameron (closed and no longer up), Medtnaculus, etc.
Olla is into music of all sorts and has a great selection of everything. lots of good obscure stuff
Fyre has all sorts of music from Medins to far more modern soviet composers. Mostly if not all piano related
hexameron was the best but now hes gone :(
medt reuploaded some of hexamerons best and has lots of obscure piano rep from late romantics onwards (but lots of russian romantics, impressionists and scriabinesque composers)
Use them as springboards to find more music you like. I use spotify in conjunction with lastfm (lol) myself and have never run into trouble with finding music. Sometimes wikipedia can help too like reading up on the mighty handful or Belyayev circle

Most post- early baroque classical is gay because it's no longer written by ironhanded aristocrats for ironhanded aristocrats.
Bach is so evidently superior to all composers, yet we keep lowering the standards when we talk about other composers, to avoid the uncomfortable situation where the butt-romantic dude or the druggy contemporary boy gets anal pained when they are told the great master is better than their shitty hedonistic heros.
Instead of white guilt, in the music world there is "Bach" guilt. We keep lowering the standards for other composers to compensate and preserve our dream of marxist culturalism. Of perfect musical relativism. Guess what? It isn't true and the compositional talent and imagination displayed, which is all that counts in the end when we have to say what is worth being saved and what not, is infinitely superior in Bach's music than any other composer.
If your shitty pop muzak is an 8 what the fuck is Bach's Art of Fugue? a 400? most music is barely a 1 to 3, the Beatles fall in here and so do most other popular music with very few exceptions that reach a 4, even a 5. Bartok string quartets would be a 6, 2 degrees of magnitude higher you have works by Brahms and other great masters. Then 9 and 10 are reserved for the highest achievements of human race like Bach's St Matthews Passion or his Concerti or Mass in B minor or the Brandenburg Concerti.
