It's pretty good a few too many lilb features. More of an hiphop album then a trip hop one. Mikky ekko had an awful feature he can do so much better.

Yeah A$AP Rocky/Clams collabs are my favourite but I guess all the LIl B features are a semi conceptual tribute to how "Cloud Rap" started.

Pretty much every track with a rap feature was an absolute banger and I liked the instrumental tracks. I wasn't really a fan of the alternative r&b/ pop tracks on the second half though.

Ghost in a Kiss was the stand out track for me. I wasn't expecting anything like that from clams casino.
It sounded like futurepop or like some kind of new 'cloud industrial' sounded like something you'd hear from Project Pitchfork.

Yeah Ghost in a Kiss is definitely my favorite track. Sam Herrings vocals remind me of Tom Waits a little bit.

Gotta admire the camaraderie between Clams and Lil B. Either of them could have ditched the other after blowing up in popularity, but they still work together after all these years. Seem like total bros as well.

I've listened to Clams a lot and he's influenced my own music so Ive had a lot of different thoughts about him.
One thought/perspective is Clams may not feel as much "BIG" rappers really want his music anymore. He may have been a little worried and found Lil B to be the most loyal and open to his beats.
He had to go to A$AP Rocky's house to show him the "Be Somebody" beat and then Clams said he had to do it for HIS album
A lot of people have kind of "turned" on Clams and think his music is old hat and should stay back in 2012.
I personally think A$AP Rocky and Vince Staples are the only rappers who have used his beats well and crafted great songs out of them.
Lil B is loyal and helped get Clams where he is today but to be honest he ruined every great beat he was given by Clams.
Clams is a semi "cultish" figure and he isnt Kanye level famous of course.
Lil B may be a bit of a "comfort" zone for Clams but there is definately loyalty between them of course.
I just want Clams to get paid. Producers usually get treated like shit. People like Flying Lotus are tired of it for sure.
Would we ever see a Clams and Kanye or a Clams and Kendrick collab? Or Clams and Drake? Probably not.

I haven't listened yet but clams is my fucking favorite and i hope it's as good as everything else he's done, regardless i'm proud of him and intend to buy a physical copy and maybe other merch if he puts out clothing designs that are different from the one he had for sale with the pre-order for the record
