They're good, I like them. Lateralus is probably the best introduction to their sound. Supposedly, the shortest song on the new album is 12 minutes long.

Lateralus is just one of those albums everyone has to at least try. You'll either love it or think its boring.

they are overrated, but still worth listening to. If nothing else they put a lot of care into their music and it rewards attentive listening

Idk. I like them. They're talented musicians. I like most songs on most of their albums. Aenima is really fucking cool.

The "quiet" parts on Lateralus are so boring, and I can't stand the lyrics and vocal delivery. The heavier riffs ard nothing to write home about, either. I only really enjoyed the opener and Reflection.
