Listening to this again for the first time in years. Holy shit, it's so good.

I never listened to Marilyn Manson outside of singles because his persona always seemed edgelord as fuck and his voice pissed me off.
Thing is I like gothic rock like Bauhaus and Bauhaus. Did I miss out on anything?

One of my favorite albums. Top notch production. Great hooks. Fun album to listen to overall. New Model No. 15 and Posthuman are my faves from the album.
Decent Bowie rip off/tribute though.
A 9/10.

Love that album too. Sone days ago I thought of making a thread about it but feared it was going ti be hated. I know it has flaws but I just got enotionally attached to it many years ago wheb I was an edgy teen. Still enjoy it though once in a while

I thought the same thing, until I started listening to him again and realized his stuff totally holds up.
If anything, it seems smarter and more provocative now that I'm older.

I didn't start listening to Manson til well after my edgy phase was over. His first few albums are pure fun.
Use this flowchart to into Manson.
I love Mechanical Animals. The recent Pale Emperor LP really brings back some of the things that made Manson so great in the Mechanical Animals era, I would totally rec trying out Pale Emperor if you like Mech animals.
Smells like children and antichrist superstar ruined me.
