There is therapy for it which involves listening to a certain type of music while sleeping, probably something like binural beats
Sorta, but you gotta be very careful with how you use your ears from now on. Low volume with music, use earplugs, don't listen to music for extended periods of time, avoid spending too much time in loud environments..etc..
I don't listen to music with headphones at all anymore. There's no "better" unless medical science makes some major advances, but with some dedication and sacrifices you can mitigate any further damage.

Been drumming since I was 12ish just sorta got used to the noise, I went to 5 stupidly loud concerts over about two weeks recently and it was pretty terrible for the week or so after that.

Make of this what you will, but I swear I've been able to lessen my tinnitus over time with white noise and isolating myself from harmful sounds. As much as halve it even. Apparently some German studies suggest that you actually can noticeably reduce the volume of it with audio therapy, so it's not entirely unlikely either.
Otherwise, there's a kind of electrotherapy in development that seems promising. I'm confident we'll have some form of treatment within our lifetimes; there actually is a fair amount of research being done on this shit, tinnitus is becoming a pretty big health issue.

It's a therapy thing, if you cover your ears so that your thumbs are pointing down and snap your index fingers from your middle finger onto the back of your head 30-40 times it causes some reaction in the part of your ear that causes ringing that puts it back to normal.

I have muffling in my ears every time I listen to music, along with random intermittent tinnitus in both ears which has gotten worse the last couple of days. This has been happening for a few months now, and I can't even use my good headphones anymore because my head feels like shit afterwards. I've been to both an audiologist and an ear nose and throat specialist because my allergies had gotten significantly worse the last year. They thought it possibly had something to do with the allergies and gave me a shitload of medication, which helped until about halfway through the trial, when it got worse and then went back to normal. My allergist says that my symptoms are not typical of allergy sufferers and can't say for sure whether or not my ear problem is caused by them either. I started allergy injections a few of months ago in hopes that it will clear up my ear problem as well. Anybody with a similar experience have any advice? This has been very stressful on top of all of my other symptoms. I listen to noise and industrial music, which particularly aggravates my symptoms, but my test with the audiologist months ago said I don't have hearing loss other than a very insignificant notch in my left ear.

I have a form of tinnitus caused by listening to music 24/7, and thus my brain tries to create sounds when there are barely any.

I had similar problems with allergies triggering tinnitus, but basic allergy medication cleared that up, try switching allergy drugs if one isn't working for you. Sometimes when I get really stuffed up the shitty muffled feeling starts to come back, and I always think it's hearing loss, but then I pop some pills and flush out my sinuses with salt water, and get on with my life.

I've had it almost a year now. The experts all say that after damage, your ears aren't supposed to be more susceptible to further damage than any other person, but that's really not my experience. I now wear ear plugs that are supposed to give 30db of protection at band practice, and yet my ears are always a bit sore afterwards and the tinnitus gets slightly worse. The worst part is whenever I get a whole new tone and have to go through the whole freak out and then habituate thing again. I'm not going to quit playing music as it's like the only joy in my life, so I don't know what to do.
