he is certainly very disturbed and has some very bizarre delusions about corsets being the source of his power (which made him very ill and landed him in hospital). if you've ever read his twitter you'll see his posts are incoherent ramblings that display some very mad thoughts. He is most certainly insane, although we're not talking Bjork stalker insane, more seriously mentally ill insane.

I'm convinced that Chris Chan has accidentally created some of the best Vaporwave ever. The tinny, muted recordings of the backing music shows how even art that is considered the greatest is filtered through low-quality, mass produced music equipment and ultimately provides a fleeting, superficial experience for listeners who will never truly appreciate the content of the media they consume. Chris' unrehearsed, tone deaf vocals show how consumers throughout the 20th and 21st centuries have tried to imitate their media idols but have often fallen short of making the creative art they want and instead resign themselves to recycling the same content they have already experienced. Ultimately, the album is filled with the quiet desperation of someone attempting to live a dream he has seen ad infinum in mass media everywhere, while being crippled by his inability to succeed in the crumbling post-modern capitalist system. It brings a new flavour to the genre's ever evolving aesthetic.
