Hello out there.
Can we get a beautiful albums thread going? The ones that leave you feeling like the artist just sat down and whispered a secret into your ear. You're not the only one that knows it, but that's ok because you feel very nice.

Thanks, I'll give this a shot. I've only heard Bryter Layter.

Bryter Layter might be my favourite from Nick Drake, but Pink Moon is soft and really sad. It's nice to listen to alone in the evenings.

Thanks guys. I'll be sure to check these out. I've already head the untitled Sigur Ros album though. It's awesome.
Regardless of how it fares against classics like Kid A and OKC, the sheer emotion this brings is just...heartbreaking

Thanks to you guys too. Got distracted between typing that last post and actually posting it.
You'll post two of my favorite albums that people on /mu/ never talk about and they're absolutely stunning and beautiful IMO.

Great albums
Honestly one of the best experiences I've had listening to music.
Very beautiful album.

absolutely Vashti
One of the most intimate, natural singers ever
The more I listen to it the more it becomes possibly my favorite of his. I love all his work, but the sheer intimacy on this album is amazing. It's so beautiful and unassuming, and sounds more like something he recorded for only himself and didn't intend to put out (which is actually true)
One of the most intimate and beautiful albums I know. There's some more rock based songs but a lot of it is very subdued and gorgeous.

Undo is one of the best songs in the album.
The chorus gives me chills man
