i discovered Fleet Foxes when i was 13-14 years old, same with Bon Iver, Suffy, and Arcade Fire (Far before i was consistantly listening to records at all times). I am now 20, and in my believe they are that median point between image/media based music community (commercial appeal) and genuine Artistry. Plenty of groups such as Pixies, Smiths, Violent Femmes, Sonic Youth, Modest Mouse, and Vampire Weekend have all bridged that gap before and i believe time will remember those artists fondly
