>Ontario, Canada, Ambient, Drone, Harsh Noise, Harshnoise, Noise, Vapornoise, Vaporwave.

Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.

Now available for stream and download!

Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Jorge some love. Thank You. :)

Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

>>66286171
didn't like track 2 but track 3 sounds like it draws heavy influence from one of my favorite acoustic guitar-based ambient groups so I was super interested in downloading. buuuut, you can only download the 2 tracks? that's lame as hell, son.
if you want any form of critique, I would say to learn how to use reverb a bit better, at some points during the drone I could actually hear the stretched out audio and imo, if you can hear that in a drone that kinda devalues the track overall. but other than that, I'm looking forward to listening to this album when I can download the entirety.

>>66286218
yo, this is fun as hell. downloading this right now and will listen to it later on today.

>>66286253
didn't like black money scam but other than that, the others were pretty cute. you have a neat voice and I like the lo-fi feel you have going on. "adulthood" is probably my favorite.

>>66286264
skipped around on this one and liked the textures that I heard so I'm grabbing this. the progression that I heard from quickly skipping around reminded me a bit of other large drone pieces like eluvium's "static nocturne," or maybe even basinski and chartier's "divertisment"

>>66286297
the sad thing about this album is particular is that when I skip around, the piano stands out and not in a particularly good way. it's almost solely the tone of the piano itself, not the composition, sounds super synthetic and while your music is definitely not organic, the piano just sticks out like a sore thumb. I did, however, skip around to find stuff that had no piano. "geode" is good, and the dissonant ending of "beneath the ice" was a nice touch.
I guess what I'd recommend is that on your next project, instead of using pianos, put some serious effort into building synth patches in your favorite vst to match the overall feel of each track. I think that'd go a long way.

>>66286326
sorry man, I'm not a fan of your vocals and since that's the main pull in your music, there's really not to say about it. to me at least. but if what you're doing appeals to people, then keep honing your craft.

>>66286377
gonna download this one. I kinda want to say that in your time spent doing all of the instrumentation yourself, you've kinda become a "jack of all trades, master of none." I don't mean that in a bad way, just that... it's kinda noticeable, to me, that you work super hard on the instrumentation for a track, and when you're done you're burnt out so you don't put as much effort into the mixing/mastering/post-processing of each individual track. which gives your music a raw feeling, for sure, but it also makes it seem... idk, not all that sonically interesting? you have some great ideas here but this album is soooo long too. I'd love to see an EP where you do like 3-4 tracks and put just as much, if not more, effort into sound design.

>>66286425
the mixing on Introspective Existentialism is... not great. a good example would be "aspartame and sucralose." the droney guitar is sitting in a weird place in the mix and it makes literally every other instrument sound super flat. or maybe the instrumentation is just flat, idk. honestly, my favorite track here was "...nothing" and that's mostly because I liked the field recording you used.
but I see that you have some other projects on your bandcamp that are potentially different genres. should I listen to another album of yours?

>>66286436
not bad stuff here, just not a huge fan of hip-hop instrumentals as of late since the genre is full of producers who don't really bring much to the table. I like the synths that you use though, some of the filters you have on em are pretty tasteful

>i agree, i tend to just go wild on the knobs until i get the sound i want
I use a vst called GlaceVerb and it's honestly the best reverb vst I have ever used, and I've used both free and paid reverbs. check it out, it's insanely robust.

>>66287219
>hmm, i dont recall stretching anything, what part do you mean? thanks for all the feedback though
I'm sure you didn't but sometimes, reverb can sound like there's stretching going on, especially if there's high amounts of wet/low amounts of dry. the airy pad that starts the track off, I start to hear something that sounds like stretching when the second drone comes in. honestly I have no idea what you can do to rectify that but now that I know it's not PauLsTrEtChEd I think it's just a reverb issue?

Hello
>>
>>66286438
I was gonna call you out for posting twice and reccing yourself (the nerve!) but then I realized that the bandcamp is a label lol WHOOPS.
anyway, the drones here are a bit too barebones for me, honestly. but otherwise you seem to have some solid ideas. the chord progression in "agoraphobia" is really good, and those arps are wonderful, but the main drone could be a tad more interesting. some kind of filter that slowly oscillators itself through the track, something like that.
"be wary" is a really nice change of pace.

>>66286597
good shit, the instrumentation is great and the vocals have character. not really much else to say.

>>66286607
this is actually criminally short but makes me excited to hear a full length album from you.

>>66286651
not as dynamic as I would have hoped for but for a "home recording project," a lot of the instrumentation here is fairly clean. good work and good ideas here
