pretty much the only deep house release talked about here and terre thaemletz/sprinkles has several other releases that are as good, if not better.

Not that guy, but I've listened to the rest of Terres discography and I still think Midtown 120 is the best album by far. However, KSHE - Routes not Roots is worth a listen, same with the DJ Sprinkles Queerifications and Ruins Remix compilation. Both contain some really fucking good deep house tunes, albeit not as cohesive.
I never see anybody talk of this band

Midtown 120 Blues is easily the most popular Deep House album on /mu/, it just isn't a very popular outside of the /bleep/ threads unfortunately.
As far as deep house goes, I think that Francis Harris / Frank & Tony is criminally underdiscussed. Almost all his releases are fucking fantastic and there are actually some DJ Sprinkles features on his records.
