I was on the side about 10 rows back. I didn't have earplugs which I do regret. It was really loud to the point where I had to cover my ears if I wanted to make out each individual instrument. But my ears feel fine today

Kind of weird setlist, of all the deep cuts they chose a pretty meh song from arguably their worst album. Maybe they'll do different ones for different shows, I know they played Coward at some recent shows. Doubt they'll do any early stuff without Thor since a key part of it is the two dueling drummers. Screenshot is out of place too, they played it for a lot of the TBK shows and I didn't think it translated too well live. Still, as long as Cloud of Unknowing and The Glowing Man are there they can play whatever else they want. I'm very excited, will be seeing them in Atlanta.

Really disappointed that Okkyung didn't join them for Cloud of Unknowing, considering she played on the album. She could have played to Some Things We Do as well
Wish I could see them this Sunday. Too bad Thor isn't on the tour too.
I was there too, really spectacular show. At times I almost could've fallen asleep standing or felt like I was melting, the whole thing was kind of entrancing. Lots of cacophonous guitar chugging which was really cool. It was definitely loud and I don't recommend going without earplugs but if you've got them it's not too bad

I was thinking of going to the Boston show tonight but I've already seen them twice and the pain of standing still for like 4 hours straight usually takes away from any enjoyment I'd get out of

Not too noticeable, had the keyboard and was playing loop/sound clips. At one point before a song Gira had to remind him that it started in with a loop and he made a nervous laugh. Overall the only thing missing a little was percussion, but Chris did an amazing job.

It's one of their better albums, maybe not their best but still pretty great. I recommend you listenting to The Seer and To Be Kind in it's entierty before diving into it though.

It's not THAT important. Their live performances are always different from their studio work. They tend to improvise new parts into the songs and change old parts to evolve the music.
