What's the best Who album and why is it Sell Out?

It's Tommy.
I Can See For Miles is probably my favorite Who song but Who's Next has to be their best and most solid album. I mean, it's basically their greatest hits album.
Sell Out is still really good.

It's Quadrophenia

It's Live At Leeds
Do I have to really go over this again? It's very obviously Quadrophenia.

I believe Pete would agree that that never published an album that met the bands standards. Listen, the Who made their money on singles and touring. Who concerts were iconic cultural events.

Quadrophenia doesn't really hold up past adolescence.

(not true, by the way)
Just because the actual story might not be as relateable doesn't mean the music itself isn't just as fantastic.
No it's My Generation
It's clearly Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy

I second this

why did he do it bros?
The Who Sell Out is by far my favorite Who album, but John Entwistle's first two solo albums (Smash Your Head Against the Wall and Whistle Rymes) are the both better than any album the Who ever put out together
Sell Out is good, but I'm not going to lie, I love A Quick One

Quadrophenia is the band that invented the rock opera saying "Hey, let's do that again." I'm not a Tommyfag but Quadrophenia suffers from some definite excesses that the former (somehow) doesn't have.
I mean, who are we kidding, best album is Who's Next.
