Essentials chart can be useful, but you shouldn't stop when you've listened to everything on a chart. Grimes proved that she could make synthpop exciting again by making it weirder and adding influences from dreampop, industrial, jpop, idm, r&b, techno. Grimes is a goddess of synthpop.
