RYMs top psych album for each decade, 70s-2000s
Tago Mago > Soft Bulletin > Skylarking > MPP
tago mago > skylarking > mpp > soft bulletin
is Skylarking any good? never heard it
>>66042269
It's very good, but don't expect anything too psychadelic. It kinda just sounds like baroque pop

>but don't expect anything too psychadelic.
what do you consider to be too psychedelic?

aumgn
>>66042432
I meant don't expect anything very psychadelic. Poor choice of words on my part. It is the least psychadelic of the 4 albums posted by a large margin

no way is mpp the worst
>>66042471
Have you ever tripped to it before? It's pretty psych and it's considered the best of the '80s.
>>66042585
Nope. Besides like the first 2 tracks it doesn't seem very trippy
>>66042628
All the tracks have something going on in them thanks to Todd rundgrens production and direction there's tons of sound effects and synths and surreal lyrics and British cynicism, I hope you havent just heard the first two songs. I've heard it on acid too it sounds like it could have come out ten years ago not 30

Yes I've heard the whole thing. I really like the album, and I guess I should try it while on some psychadelics
The Soft Bulletin for sure
Merriweather Post Pavilion is for sure the best.
> adobe slabs
Tago Mago doesn't really fit in there but this:
Tago Mago > Skylarking > The Soft Bulletin > MPP
is the objective order
