Good, or amazing?
>>
>>66035912
I'd say amazing.
>>
Pretty good, but really formulaic
>>
>>66035912
Great band from a creative perspective
>>
>>66035912
really good but a bit off putting after you learn that they are huge liberals
>>
>>66036442
>liberals
There's a difference between liberals and leftists. These guys are so leftist that they border on Communism tbhmate.
>>
>>66036442 here
once you learn that they aren't so much "against the machine" its a real bummer
>>
>>66036462
which makes them totally FOR the machine, i should have expected this. i don't know why i chose to like things anymore.
>>
bretty good, amazing performers, touch of cringe when Zach tries to be a funky rapper

>>66036442
Really? What tipped you off? Was it the pro-socialist clothes the singer and guitarist wear? The anarchist flag guitars, the music videos that are all about human rights and protest? The fact that every song is about human rights abuses, government corruption, racism/sexism, and revolution? I seriously can't imagine how you weren't immediately aware of their political affiliations. They're not exactly subtle about it.
>>
>>66036465
>>66036511
It's funny, because they all have net worths around $25 million, yet still go on about rich fat cats. I think anyone that makes that much money espousing beliefs that directly contradict it are hypocrites and liars.
>>
>>66036553
So, if you succeed as a commercial musician, you're automatically supposed to be pro-corporate corruption and government-sanctioned violence? I'm not a fan of this band, but your opinion is retarded.
>>
>>66036660
No, but if you espouse anti-capitalist ideology through your work, whilst benefitting from the capitalist system via that work, I think you're a hypocrite. I don't believe that everything they say is hypocritical, but that part I do.
>>
>>66036552
i'm not aware of how they look or the clothes they wear or how their instruments look. I only know what i hear from their music which is like you said " human rights abuses, government corruption, racism/sexism, and revolution" which i'm all for. What i'm not for is what i haven't heard in their lyrics which is that they are for stealing and physically harming others to better themselves, we don't hear that part.

>>66036553
yeah. they can still be against the government and the corruption but they can't speak about how they take from others because thats what they want in order to further their agenda. They can' speak about how the government steals from people and how they kidnap people because they want that to continue under their vision of how the system would work
>>
>>66036742 correction
*which i'm also against
>>
>>66035912
Good. The repetition really bothers me.
>>
>>66036442
They aren't liberals. Modern liberals are pushing for big government (like the EU) which isn't which rage is promoting
>>
>>66036660
money is power and yet what do they do with it? use it to try and break the system or buy nice guitars?
>>
>>66035912
Their politics and lyrics are corny, but they have some killer riffs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ITF4HoRZRY

I've never heard an album of theirs that I'd describe as good, but they have several excellent individual tracks
>>
>>66036838

They are careful about their criticisms of the state because they want to use it for their twisted vision. They want very much to use that monopoly of force for their own ends, so they don't criticize too harshly. In order to have what they are calling for, they would need a type of monopoly of force in order to enforce everything. This can only be done through the state which in some twisted way they must be promoting.

>>66036848
>>66036733
the system they are for is largely nonsensical, you would need a state in order to enforce their ridiculous vision.

besides all of that and turning a blind eye to the details their music is good
>>
>>66036892
i agree, they have at least 5 really good tracks
>>
>>66036892
The best riff right here
