Why do you think there has never been a rock album on par with electronic music?

As it has become an obsolete genre and its time passed, do you think it was maybe down to it being too centered on dancing, entertainment and simplistically emotional based with feels and anti-establishment ethos in most?

I agree with you, Rock is chained by rhythm and commecial succes. Very rarely you see rock bands break free from these.
